I think UpInFlames is one of the only people here who is actually analysing the problem instead of just going "eeeh you're all a bunch of whiny cheapskates kthxbye". Simple matter of fact is that the issue is bigger than the idea of getting free DLC; it's the fact that this move is very unlike Valve. You can tell the people in here who have grown up in gaming with Valve and those who haven't, because those who haven't just don't get the whole argument and are the ones saying "meh they're a company, so what?". Yes they are a company and yeah nice one Sherlock they should make money, but this concept of releasing a game that was light on content, promising to bolster it post-release and then putting all that content into a whole new game instead is something that Valve has never done. Yes many other companies do this, but it's totally against the nature of Valve. People need to understand that most of the people who are complaining about Left4Dead 2 are not complaining because they want a load of free stuff because they are cheap and spoilt, it's because the one company in the industry who long-time PC gamers could respect have seem to have thrown their whole mantra out of the window.

If the RC expires next year then will MS still keep updating it with patches and service packs after the retail version is released?

I never liked the way that there were 5 guys surrounding you, yet they would only attack one by one and wait for you to kill one of them, then wait another 5 seconds before another one attacked you. Dumb, hope they fix it.

Yep just put the file on your memory stick (its best to have it as the only file on there as its easier to find that way), alt+f2 or go to BIOS, advanced, EzFlash, run it, will take about a minute or two. DO NOT turn off the power whilst it is working or you'll screw up the mobo. YOu gotta hope you don't have a power cut in those 2 minutes lol. Don't use the Windows BIOS updater, its crap and EZ flash is uch better and is EZ!

I use macs and PCs for design and video editing and also gaming. If I had to choose between one I'd choose a PC. The reasons being I can choose any compnent I want in a build, cheaper than what I would get with a mac. I can customise Windows more than I can OSX. I have more freedom in the software and hardware choices. Windows can run any 3D program on the market (I'm talking Maya, 3Dsmax etc), while 3D on mac is an afterthought - for example Zbrush 3 took over a year to come out on mac after PC and even then it just doesn't work. You can get the same design and editing programs on PC as Mac and you can play far more games. The only thing, as a designer, that mac has going for it is Logic, Final Cut Pro and Shake, but even then there are alternatives available on the PC and more of them. One thing I do love about the mac is the looks, super sexy, everything is clean and lovely. But apart from that, there's just no freedom in a mac, and as a designer, that just seems completely counter-intuitive to my philosophy and needs.

Pc ftw. Only thing the Mac has going for it for me is Final Cut and Logic but I'll settle for Premier Pro, Vegas and Cubase.

Well if all you want is DoW then go for the D2D deal. But if you're willing to spend the extra on the THQ pack and DoW2 then that Steam deal is good. CoH is quality and you get the Opposing Fronts expansion, STALKER is also good and Titan Quest is said to be good - just look at the metascore for each game - all above 70. If you're looking for variety and can afford the extra cost its a good deal, but if all you want is DoW then stick with D2D

I don't know the technical answer to that question (it totally puzzles me), but if worst comes to worst this page tells of some similar fonts: http://www.identifont.com/similar?2J2 Hope it helps somewhat, sorry for lack of any further knowledge
