so they are making a new console? Suprise, no system can survive more than 10 years the most - cause then new technology is developed, and people get interrested, and maybe the present system has been alive for 6-7 years, but then they release something new, and many people will buy it, some will wait for the price to go down, which is about 1 year or so before most people can afford it, and then! Well... the previous system is dead! So of course they will make a new system, Microsoft already has such succes in gaming business, but i aint gonna believe in some random dude on GameSpot, specially when he says "i have a source but i can't tell" - how the hell would your "source" know that you told anyone, specially(!) if its on the internet?!

i believe you can have a source, but if you are too afraid telling, i wont take a word you say to me!

Nintendo4ever25 - that really is not an answer, you just said some crap about a **** game for nobody to help - and even if he is a lvl 25, he is just saying his oppinion - frankly, i'd rather own a Ps2 over a Wii anyday! Cause the games are sucky, graphics are balls - and there are like 0 good action games out there, only good games are the ones created and developed by Nintendo themselves (and they never NEVER lower the price of their games... so you are always stuck with paying a million, in Denmark where i live it costs about 90-100$ for a Nintendo Wii game, that's the official Nintendo games, and not third party developers..) so basically, No More Heroes i thought was very overrated, go get an Xbox or Ps3/ps2 and game some GTA instead, more action, more free roam, and better stories!

What the hell?! Short? You have got to either have very high standards, or be an idiot - Metal Gear Solid games probably has the longest storyline in game history - it is probably the best too... Short?! I mean, threads like this really piss me off cause i bet my ass you have never played Metal Gear Solid 1 -2 or 3... so before posting a thread like this, read the cover of the game, and if it has a number like "2" "3" or in this case "4" use your common sense, and maybe think "could there be a pre-quel" and not only that, it was so hyped, you were almost bound to know that there was a history ongoing - not only to mention you most likely would be have been like "what the **** is this" or "why is this happening" somewhere in MGS4 since you have never played the prequels... maan i'm sorry i'm sounding harsh, but it's just a stupid question you asked...

i know why you sold it - like me, you probably completed the game, and when you complete Crackdown, there is literally nothing else to do but to run around around, you can't find emenies or nottin! So i'd say, if you wanna use money on it, yeh it's alot of fun, but then it's gonna get stupid after you completed it.. and you will probably sell it again

What the hell has happened the past months for the DS?! Nothing, nothing! No games that are interresting! Oh yeah, i know such titles as Prince of Persia and Star Wars: Clone Wars just been released, and probably some others during the past couple of months, but nothing makes me shout: "WAUW I GOTTA OWN THIS!" i mean, basically my favourite game for the DS is the first one! Super Mario 64 DS, it had good graphics, great gameplay, nice sound, and overall a good game! Same with Mario Kart, Wario Ware was innovating and addicting, and Nintendogs was cute, Pokemon was yet a new challenge, and a bit of fun (old pokémon fan, don't really like the new games too much, but i give em a shot you know) and New Super Mario Bro. which is just fantastic!

But for real?! Why is there nothing?! Someone heeeelp mee :P I mean with Super Mario 64 it went to show that the DS was capable of having all the one game, but say: Why is there so few 3D games, okay okay Prince of Persia, New Super Mario Bro. and Assasin Creed (didn't play it)is in kinda of 3D but not really!

I mean Nintendogs and Super Mario 64 Ds, and Mario Kart DS gave us great graphics, good sound, and fun gameplay (okay okay, Nintendogs abit boring, and my dog never died although i tried starving it - yeh i'm sorry all you tree huggers out there! No offense...)

What is going on with the developers! Only Nintendo itself seem to deliever the goods!

So far only: New Super Mario Bro, Super Mario DS, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Nintendogs, Mario Kart DS, Wario Ware, Asphalt Urban (believe or not) and Pokemon Pearl/Diamond, been making me play for days together, all the other games, i play for a couple of hours and they bore me, i might give another chance, but all that happeneds is i vomit or boreness and return em to the store going: "That's right, this one is broke too, yeh i don't know, probably mass failure in production, i don't know - STORE CREDIT! BYE!"

It kinda worries me - what will happened in the next generation of handhelds?! We get PS3/Xbox 360 graphics, but are left standing with games like: Chess, Tetris and Bomberman because creators lack of ideas?!

!!! WTF !!!

Regards Oliver - thanks for responding!

WHAT ARE YOUR DEMANDS?!

I mean when i bought Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii (not at once! But in general)

I was overwhelmed by the PS3, and the 360, but the Wii disappointed me! I mean the idea behind the Wii was good and all, but with boring games, a saad engine, and nothing really groundbreaking besides the way of playing the games (which makes me just wanna plug in a normal controller, but oh wait i can't - well i can in Smash Bro. and Mario Kart, and guess what, I DO!)

So guess what i'm saying is:

My demands are: Better graphics, better sound, strong engine, and overall capability of better game play! maybe some extra features such as a dvd player built in, cause it's only more practical!

But what are yours?!

Write an answer, start a discussion, i don't care, it's just lovely to hear from other gamers!

Oblivion - and then later on i bought Fallout 3 in hope of it just being a different gameplay, but it wasn't... not saying it's bad, but just not my taste... and also Brothers in Arms package for the Wii - i mean, the graphics were actually worse than the original for the ps2... now that says something!

Well basically a topic people have been talking about, not only on game-spot but everywhere: Is Xbox live for kids.

My answer would be definitely, BUT to actually make my answer fair i've searched videos on the Internet, watching a gazillion kids harassing on Xbox Live, this pisses me off, because about 8/10 of the videos i saw, the anger and harassment got to far, and was unbearable and plain annoying. Unfortunately there are some adults that cant control there anger too, but at least they quit playing at sometime, and relax, and might not do it on purpose i don't know. All i know is, i, myself is only 15, and most 14-15 year old, and above, has learned to control this stupid anger that may appear if you loose a game, to the computer, or another.

So i myself think that you should be able to buy Xbox live as a 14 year old. And there are actually some really good reasons for it too.

1. Kids intend to get angry, and commit harassment to another gamer.

and

2. Alot of the really great and most played Xbox live games such as Gears of War, Cod4, Halo 3 and whatever, has content that minors should not be playing, so it doesn't make it better that they might get furious, but also see a knife stabbing someone, or a bullet go right through a head, i ain't saying they are gonna murder someone - just saying, the content is already forbidden for minors, the adding of their anger doesn't make it better.

I believe kids like myself (who has several +18 games) are able to get the Xbox live, even if it was every going to be like that, there for i would say, perhaps make it a bit different: Xbox live (the gaming part of course) should be harder to get to in some way, i don't know how, but in some way it should, I'd like to hear you're suggestions on what can be done, and i know "Parents can just do their work" or "mute the TV" or whatever, but those are not realistic, no parent wants to watch their child 24/7, a reason kids get consoles, is to shut the f*** up :P and also I'd like to listen to the audio, come with some realistic suggestion - even if you disagree with me on whether minors should be allowed to play the gaming part of Xbox Live Gold

Oliver.

Need for speed underground 2 (DS, loved the PC version)

Halo 2 (on xbox)

WoW (i do love the game, but it took to many hours, well months.. of my life, so i quit it, which is better, but i think it's the worst/best game ever made! :P)

Luckily where i buy my games, i'm friends with the workers, so ill buy the game, and return it if i dont like it - can have it for about 2 weeks, complete the game, think "hmmm this is nothing i'm gonna play again" and then return it for my money again.. nice :P

Everybody says: "MGS4" and the truth is, yes it is probably one of the greatest games ever, but you wont understand ANYTHING, unless you played the pre-quels... so i'd recommend Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, if you like action, the story is pretty cool, gameplay and the action is really awesome, so check it out, unfortunetly it aint the longest game, but you will like it - else check Call of Duty 4 (CoD never fails to impress anyone, and it's a shooter full of action, with a nice story, so basicly it covers all you asked for :P)
