@NTM23: I think it's innevitable. I don't think the current specs of PS4/Xbox Onewill be able to play much more advanced games, so if they don't want to bring Playstation 5 in like 2-3 years, then they would have to bring a upgraded version of PS4.
@otterbee: There must be something like this going on, otherwise how would they reach a 39 mil figure with less than 15 mil current-gen consoles sold?! Well I can understand them though, they're grasping at everything they can find so that they don't look so far behind the competition ...
@stylest: Saying that a blind man ca see Xbox is better supported doesn't actually make it true. And the fact that two years later (long way since the launch flop) they are still way behind the competition clearly shows their quality and standards.
@Adam802: It's actually because they are losing massively to the rivals in sales. And the fact that they lost first place and are being soooo dominated by the competition speaks loads about the quality of the console, services and games they are providing.
@sladakrobot: Don't know about Dark Souls 2. Probably if I'd play Dark Souls 2 90% of the time and it glitched on PS4 I would complain about that as well. Isn't it the platform's responsibility to check games before they release them or something? If the devs completely ruin a game that means I give 60$ to Sony or Microsoft for nothing? Doesn't matter, it's not that big of a deal with FIFA, just a reference among the other many issues I had with Xbox One.
@sladakrobot: If FIFA works fine on PS4, I'm expecting it to work fine on Xbox One. Don't really care where the fault is. The same with the install times.
As for the rest, you might be right, some devices might have issues and some not, but the frequency of complaints I see on the internet makes me think I'm among many.
@penkowalski: Didn't say it's a bad thing, it just seemed pointless. But true, when you have two consoles set up at 1 tv, you can stream the one to the pc.
@sladakrobot: FIFA, enormous loading times and glitches compared to PS4. You wait before the game and in between scenes considerably more, and it glitches at "almost" every cutscene.
Black Flag was the one I actually stopwatched and it took 49 minutes to install from a disc (no download, just install).
Tons of glitches like the snap bar getting stuck and not showing anything, clicking on the upper left icon to sign in but nothing happening, trying to buy something and the pop-up getting stuck (having to go to pc and purchase from there).
Constant crashes where it takes you back to the dashboard for no apparent reason, games getting stuck and having to press the xbox button and close application and restart.
Normally when these sort of things happen, I would assume the console is faulty right? Not in this case. The forums and the internet is filled with similar complaints, and friends are experiencing mainly the same issues.
