30 fps 720p Battlefield 4 runs and plays smoothly on my ps3 (don't know about you people who constantly have problems with bf4 on consoles that I so-happened to never experience). Playing CoD at 60fps, I realize how overrated six-o really is. Is it less invigorating? no. just not necessary. but a fun extra, nonetheless.

those other played out franchises...wait...let me guess...zelda and pokemon? Out of 20 franchises, those are probably the only ones that can somehow be twisted into being labeled as played out...

The Pro controller is definitely worth buying. I just hope they release a version with a headphone/keyboard jack.

There's a far bigger technological leap from Wii to Wii U than these 7th gens to their 8th gen counterparts.

first of all, Wiimote is too damn MLB-turn-on-must-be-aimbot for FPS games,and functioned quite normally for smash bros, mario kart,etc. and me, being a 5+ year wii owner, 2+ year 360 owner, and a dabble of ps3/vita experience here and there, can tell you the wiimote wasn't really a gimmick at all, people are just too lazy to learn how to play.

with the wii u pad, you don't even have to learn how to play, and if you find gaming on the pad hard, you must be retarded or have arthritis, for which you won't be able to handle any controller. people just look at the wii u pad's screen and think "got-damn! i bet i can't play this got-damn game without looking at the got-damn screen got-damn stupid got-damn nintendo forcing got-damn gimmicky damn-got wiitarded got-damn products on got-damn me again got-dammit!." (they talk like that xD) just use the buttons, triggers, and analogs if you have trouble working the touchscreen like you do on your smartphones and ipads errday.
