@gamingdevil800: Its not exactly the art style that's the issue though, well with the 2016/17 series anyway. It just that the CG they used in those made everything look low quality and lifeless, it was like watching a janky puppet show at times.

And where are these people that are actually mad about it being removed? I only see folks only doing the same thing I'm doing. I haven't come across any people here being outright sad they they won't be able to spend money on the game's lootboxes anymore.
And I love your logic, its all hunky dory and fine disagreeing with those who designed the game when they are pro-microtransactions, but suddenly its regarded as stupid and people aren't allowed to disagree when they are anti-microtransactions. You do understand that your logic has to go both ways right? You are being a massive hypocrite otherwise.

@topgun182: For reals, the only worthwhile thing to even get chests for are those orders that can buff your orcs and whatnot. And you get those anyway with the standard in-game currency bought chests.
And even then you can do without them. People just need to get over themselves.

Progress isn't ridiculously slow, its a long game so of course you won't have everything unlocked early. And people like to say Shadow Wars was designed to get you into the store but that is also bullshit, you can't buy orcs higher than your level to just steamroll everything so if the enemies were too high level, you were just shit out of luck and had to grind. Their attempt at an endgame ended up being tedious and grindy, but only because they didn't do a good job with it, not because of some malicious ulterior motives designed to wring money out of your wallet.
And what PVP system?? The online pit fights against other player orcs and online fortresses? Bullshit as well. The orcs you get from the lootboxes, even the very best ones, have no distinct advantage over the very best ones you can find in normal play. Sore losers are just mistaking that the online pit fights and fortresses aren't properly balanced as "REEEEEEEE dey want muh monies the MONSTERS"
