I actually think loot boxes and other things you pay for are fine in free-to-play games since they need to make money somehow, but in titles you already pay full price for, definitely not.

I'm curious as to whether the new D&D movie will be canon to the Forgotten Realms alongside the books and games.

I somewhat wonder if the show will outlive Groening.

I definitely liked the movie and will keep my eye on this.

I like Discovery, but it's hard to believe the first two seasons occur just a decade before The Original Series, given the blatant superiority of the technology; Enterprise had the same issue. I hate to make the analogy, but Star Wars' prequels I think are more believable chronological predecessors than Trek's.

@openmind23: Yeah, it's definitely good to see Star Trek (sort of) back on television.

I find it odd that it took things such as CG'ing out Henry Cavill's mustache took $300 million. Definitely makes one wonder where all that budget money went.

I hope they have Next Generation characters other than Picard himself in his show, rather than just the original characters.

I find the books somewhat verbose, and have no intention of rereading them in the future. I'm busy rewatching the entire series now that it's wrapped.
