Vita owners would do well to check this game out, probably one of the finest 2d side scrolling hack'n'slash I have ever played.

Also has a gorgeous art design and likeable characters.

@Salt_AU IIRC only avaliable for the Nokia 3210, you can buy a copy by building a time machine and going back to the year 1885, look for a man that calls himself Dr Emmett Brown, he will assist you in obtaining one.

Take some pizza with you it's a long journey.

Eh I preordered Tomb Raider from Amazon for under £32 which compared to most new games over here that go for almost £40 I consider that a good price.

I felt like I got my moneys worth with it too unlike some other games that spring to mind...

I take it from the comments the game was being sold for standard price in other countries? pretty shoddy if thats the case.

Also this dosnt take digital sales into account so you can probably expect the total to increase by almost 2million just from that.

I think this has more to do than simple translation issues.

My guess is they are still trying to iron out many of the exploits which are present in the japanese version before moving onto other territories.

From what I hear they are probably going to keep the US/EU servers seperate from the asian one, and considering the past hacking on that server I think thats a good idea.

Id rather wait and have a solid reliable game with a level economy than a total hackfest that was PSU...

The last collectors edition I purchased was the Skyrim one, the Alduin figure is of very poor quality and I really do not feel I got my moneys worth from it. However the artbook that came with it was excellent and sits proudly on my shelf of interesting gaming items, the Alduin sits in its box in the loft.

In recent years collectors editions seem to be leaning more towards "exclusive" dlc items, im no fan of these as more often than not that dlc gets made available to all a couple of months down the line, generally at a much lower cost comapred to what you paid ontop of the original game.

From now on I only buy collectors editions when they come with substantial art books or OST's, clothing and memory sticks are pretty cool to have too. The best collectors edition I ever brought was Nintendos Xenoblade Chronicles which came with a red classic pro controller, IIRC I only paid £20 for it and already its worth 3-4x that.

Most of that stuff on the table in that video looks like crap but I wouldnt mind having that Eddie Riggs statue.

@GSJones1994 @kekejefferis I'd like to think so but I think Nintendo will again play it safe and make it child friendly. An M rating would be pretty awesome though.

Also I think Nintendos success with the handheld market since what the late 80's has made them a very viable platform for 3rd party developers. Nintendo hasnt really shined on the home console market since the NES days. SNES was cool but here in the UK the Megadrive was the dominator. Nintendo since then has always been on the outskirts of the console race, the N64 was hampered because it was a 64bit machine in a 32bit race, it also used expensive carts instead of cheap discs.

The Gamecube was a bit hit and miss it was agreat console but seemed to ignore all the advancements made with the PS2/Xbox, it also looked like a fisherprice toy.

The Wii although being a great console is woefully underspec and suffered by being a one trip pony. I guess Nintendo are now a victim of their own success from the Wii. They managed to draw the mass casual crowd but they couldnt keep thier interest long enough to make them a loyal customer. Its these people which I beileve probably discard the WiiU without a second thought.

@GSJones1994 @kekejefferis Indeed :]

Bayonetta 2 has perked my interest but not nearly enough for me to consider handing over money for the WiiU now.

Sadly my kids (ages 8 & 10) both said they didnt want the WiiU after playing it in a local game store. And my daughter has a Mario obsession! she says shes quite happy to continue playing Mario on the old Wii as its virtually identical.

Maybe Zelda will be worth waiting for but I must admit after the daft sword waving from Skyward sword my attention has been blunted.

Honestly Nintendos biggest problem is lack of 3rd party support, but sadly this seems to be a trait with their home consoles and I don't see the WiiU breaking this trait anytime soon if ever.

@GSJones1994 @kekejefferis Nintendo reallys needs to get of their arse and show some Metroid on the WIIU. The wait is killing it IMO.

It always seems to me Nintendo dosnt value the Metroid franchise as highly as their typical cash cows of Mario/Yoshi and Zelda.

Personnally when I think of Nintendo I think of Metroid not Mario.

I just hope they can get out of the rut they have dug themselves into and become an awesome console/games developer and not just some narrowminded money greedy monster.
