Not sure what the obsession with the swappable battery is in 2017. That made a lot more sense when carriers told us we couldn't upgrade our phones for at least 2 years (I held on to my iPhone 4 for three years), but with most carriers allowing you to upgrade your phone every year these days, who's killing their battery in a matter of 12 months? The better solution is to forget about making your phones as thin as possible and start adding some girth to accommodate a bigger battery that actually lasts all day.
I don't get all the hate on changing the main characters. Chloe made Uncharted 2 great, and I can't wait to play this. I have the greatest faith in Naughty Dog as a game development and storytelling studio. They mentioned they could've chosen Sully or Sam for this game, but I'm glad they chose the characters I find most interesting.
For anyone complaining about gender...I'd much rather look at Chloe for hours at a time than Nate...(sorry, Nate...)
@livedreamplay: This is the most common argument people use for R-ratings, and while I understans the logic fundamentally, Uncharted is not a Tarantino flick. It's a exciting, fun, pulp adventure in the vein of Indiana Jones. Realism is not something that has ever defined it. Characters, story, pacing, and gorgeous locales are what come to mind.
@RogerioFM: Uncharted is a great PG-13 product, in my opinion. I don't know why people insist on an R-rating. I guess because there's a certain "stigma" around an R-rating that you don't get with PG-13?
It reminds me of the Tomb Raider reboot. I don't know why it's rated M for mature. Those (classic) games were great PG-13 experiences, but they had to put some swearing in to make it an "M" game because that somehow lends it more importance.
Why is there a review quote printed on the front of the box? Can't we leave that for the back? It ruins the beautiful cover art. Also, I'm anxious to own this film, but don't wanna get roped into the same boat as I did with Episode VII where 147 different versions of bonus features were released; or worse--a "Special Extended Edition" comes out in 6 months...
I had a feeling they would stick with James Earl Jones as Mufassa, and I'm so glad they did. Still not sold on exactly WHY these live-action remakes are happening (aside from the obvious answer of "money"), but this gives me some hope that they won't be awful.
"Walking Dead Star" is the type of terminology you use when your quotes are coming from Season 5 Extra #47. When it's THE STAR OF THE SHOW, you can probably get more clicks by just saying, "Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln", or maybe just "Andrew Lincoln." It's 2017. Everyone knows who he is.
