@adilejaz @hector530 That is the question people have been trying to figure out for the past decade. Hamas is a military organization that kills not only Israelis but other Arabs who do not agree with them, as seen in the execution of Fatah party members after the 2006 coup.
@Whole-Lotta @DrizztDark I have no clue where you get your facts from because there have been hundreds in the past week, and over 10,000 since 2002. The press never covers any of it though.
@adilejaz @hector530 I never said neither has have killed innocent civilians, although I will dispute the fact that Israel intentionally does. It is an unfortunate event that Hamas uses civilians as human shields while firing rockets. They hide their offices in civilians buildings. Israel has the right to self defense when the Hamas fires rockets at Israeli civilians nonstop.
@Suikogaiden What bodies are you talking about? There have been innocent civilians killed on both sides. And let's not forget who has been raining rockets on whom for the past ten years. During the last cease fire, Hamas continued to shoot on average a rocket a day and Israel did not respond. What would America do if a rocket a day landed in New York City, or LA?
On the subject of turning Gaza into a ghetto, Israel allows all material except for weapons into Gaza. Additionally, people conveniently forget taht Israel does not surround Gaza. Egypt also has border with them from which they import and export things.
@adilejaz There is no international definition of terrorist recognized by the United Nations, although the US does have it's own definition. I live in the US, so I believe in their definition. So yes, they are considered a terrorist organization by many countries. Obviously Hamas does not consider themselves terrorists, but they advocate for the destruction of Israel and target their citizens indiscriminately, and use their own citizens as human shields in addition. Hamas has also launched over 100 rockets that have hit within Gaza and never made it into Israeli territory.
@adilejaz It is true that they were elected. They are however still considered a terrorist organization by the United States of America. I don't know where you're getting your facts from, but they seem to be pulled out of thin air. Hamas was supposed to form a unity government with Fatah after the election, and instead staged a coup to oust Fatah to the West Bank, and in the process killed all Fatah supporters and party members.
@DrYnot @jamujey That not only shows your ignorance of the situation in Israel, but your ignorance of Christianity as well. Only certain sects of Christianity believe that.
