@gouldy98 Respectfully disagree. Who exactly is purchasing an Xbox One to watch cable television without having to press an input button or really wants a more social television experience. I know when I'm watching a movie or television I prefer people to be quiet so I can watch and listen.

@QuadThumbs It's called one because the idea was to meet all your entertainments needs into one place. Gaming, film, music, television, social, etc.

Disappointed with the focus on non-gaming features. The focus is clearly to reel casual gamers into the console market. Personally, I'm apathetic towards smart glass, Kinect, cloud, TV integration, movie and music services. I wanted to see games, and what did we actually see? Next to nothing. I don't think either console warrants a day one purchase at this point. Hopefully E3 shows more games.....and doesn't forget about the core audience

@ReturnofQueuing Maybe one day...many years from now. I'll recover regain my confidence.

You can keep your disposition that Sony is the "IMMOVABLE" object that should butcher the competition into bankruptcy, and I'll keep mine that competition lowers prices, increases quality, and sparks innovation. Good day

@ReturnofQueuing Oh lord, the underlying premise still stands. $600 is incredibly high price point at launch with an utter lack of exclusive and thank God Sony had some legitimate competition to force them into lowering the price of each unit and developing higher quality titles. In your ideal world where Sony dominated the competition into bankruptcy, you'd still be playing titles on par w/ Lair on your $600 console.

@ReturnofQueuing No it's not. Talk to anyone with even a casual knowledge of business. 2 million units isn't substantial. To be frank, gloating at numbers in and of themselves is ignorant as you're not taking into account the cost to manufacture and distribute each unit and how much of a loss the companies take when selling each unit.

Upon release, the PlayStation 3 was the most expensive console EVER at approximately $600. As a consumer, you should NOT be proud of this. It's a strain on our wallet. Consumers flocked to Microsoft and Nintendo and that's why Sony was forced to drop the price and is enjoying it's current success.

Allow me to repeat. Competition lowers prices, increases quality, and sparks innovation. Stop being a fanboy and grow up.

@ReturnofQueuing 2 million units between Sony and Microsoft is hardly substantial. Nintendo with the Wii's launch was the most surprising success this generation. Microsoft is and will remain the biggest competitor to Sony in the generations to come. And despite your complete ignorance, this is a good thing as it will lower prices, increase the number of quality titles, and spark innovation; all in the name of getting a larger share of the market. Grow up, kid.

If Rubin's claim is true, Square Enix could learn a lesson or two from 4A and how a light budget doesn't necessarily equate to a bad product. I'm reflecting back on must have been an enormous and frankly bloated advertisement budget for Tomb Raider and Hitman: Absolution; those two CGI trailers for Hitman Absolution (The shower scene and the nun assassins), TV time (playing both games with Conan and commercials), flying in a beautiful UK actress for overs/modeling/spokesperson for Laura Croft. My point is accentuated by the fact the despite selling millions of copies Square Enix has considered both failures. Wishing the best for Last Light.

Live action trailers are really polarizing. They're either so good you want a movie to be made ASAP or they're so bad you're pissed the publishers wasted their time and money not showing you gameplay. This is the latter.

This was my favorite of the 3. Although, it seems to be the most juvenile of the 3. The other 2 characters, Michael and Franklin, seem to actually have some depth. Franklin is trying to escape poverty and misery by committing crimes while Michael has used crime in the past to achieve the American dream and escape Franklin's dilemma, but is still miserable and bored by reality and looking to reinvigorate his life by dipping his toes back into the underworld.

My question is what does Trevor's storyline mean? What is R* social commentary specifically with his character?
