@Jamoid Yes, they are separate teams, and sorry it took me so long to respond, as I didn't get any notifications for a while. But it's been confirmed that Stockholm is making the game, so it is the masters, not the new studio. Don't know if you know that by now, but there you go.

@malokevi @rann89 @instigator81 I don't think the problem is the technical innovation. The Kinect 2 will be an impressive bit of tech, and I'm sure that it will be a vast improvement, and that the past Kinect will not by necessity predict the future.

On the other hand, many don't care about Kinect. Sure there are interesting or good games on Kinect, like Fable: The Journey, or Dance Central, or the upcoming Fantasia. But I think what you're seeing on threads like this is that while many units were sold, a lot of gamers prefer controllers. Even if it's not that, the idea that Kinect is now required, rather than being a separate purchase, gets under peoples' skins. Admittedly, I think a lot of gamers would buy the Kinect if it were sold separately, but the lack of a choice can be irritating to lots of people.

So yeah, the Kinect will be better, it'll be cool, and it might add to some game experiences (maybe). But the main issue is that it's a forced addon that could end up being neat but useless, and that the past motion detection consoles just show that motion detection gets in the way of an experience, not really improve it.

@udubdawgz I don't know what you think I meant by forgive. I didn't mean that they admitted a mistake, which I thought was clear, but maybe it wasn't. I was using it in the manner you are now, as in they defend stupid decisions, which would be considered "forgiving" them. And while nostalgia is not necessarily in the definition, it is a good example of a motivation for acting like an apologist, is it not? That being said, I have no idea what argument you are referring to. People aren't complaining about the Kinect 2 existing, they're complaining about it being forced on consumers. And i.e. they can go swim in their own filth is not the right usage of i.e.

@udubdawgz @IndremaLover Maybe you should just use the term fanboy, as you created a huge amount of replies from just the term apologist, and a weird metaphor that people didn't get.

@udubdawgz @jedi2357 @Axile11 So, what we have here is that you just paraphrased my stated definition, and then proceeded to argue that it supported you somehow. So I suppose the question remains, what criticisms are being leveled at Sony? Cause I don't see any, as Sony isn't requiring the Eye, and it's cheaper. Did Sony say they're raising the price, and I just didn't notice? Or that used games aren't playable anymore? Also, you spelled apologist wrong.

@udubdawgz @jedi2357 @Axile11 I don't think you know what apologist means. I think you're using that term instead of fanboy, which is what you mean. Apologist is someone who forgives the horrible mistakes being made because they have nostalgia, i.e. Xbox fans that defended the DRM even though they didn't want it because it had Xbox branding. Fanboys just want Sony to succeed.

@udubdawgz @Axile11 What are they forgiving? That the PS4 cut its price? Or that they're selling a motion sensor separately and cheaper? Who exactly ARE these apologists?

@rem234 @Axile11 @Tigerbite2 It might turn out that way, but it could just be a useless addon. The Wii U introduced a tablet that many thought developers would be clever and innovative with, but that didn't work out so well. I suppose we'll know in about a year, but really the only Kinect thing that looked innovative was Fantasia.

As someone has already said, the intro music is just great. So I'm wondering who composed it. Was it resident musician Kevin? Or did you hire an outside artist? Or did you pull it from some other source?
