@Pilgrim117 Wasn't it a little over the line with the Twitter war that ensued? Especially when game journalists were the ones that started it by calling him an "***hole?" He had already had a breakdown just a few months ago on Twitter, and people have non-stop hatred for this guy. I'm really just not sure who's at fault here, whether it's Fish's temper or the AnnoyedGamer comments that supposedly started it all. Sure, he probably should've just let it wash over him, but he does have some right to be insulted by everything going down.
@telaros @Sampawende @Nemesis_47 Could you please stop with the conspiracy posting? Your comment doesn't have any relevance to the actual article, little to do with the comment you were replying to, and seems to be a bit out of place. Why don't we stick to the topic at hand and wonder if the guy is guilty or not, or something like that?
@Pyrosa But the map is very well-balanced as is, and doesn't need any improvements. And as someone who loves strategy games, don't you realize that the classic strategy game, Chess, has only one layout?
@Xatsuna @mouse314 It was nothing like Warcraft 3, not even base-building and economy were remotely similar. The armies weren't huge, but then again it was a 2004 game that probably couldn't support as many models as you wanted, and the battles were pretty large.
@UltraredM I'm pretty sure this was live-streamed, so that would probably explain the technical hiccups. Why it was done live and not recorded is beyond me, but still.
@Boofylinktus @jedi2357 Why? Because I pointed out that it was an editorial? I don't necessarily think this article poses a very good argument, though it is somewhat supported with evidence from the game in question. But it is what it is.
@Boofylinktus It's called an editorial, it's not a news piece. Carolyn Petit is part of the editorial staff, so she writes opinion pieces. So, yes it is biased, because that's what the piece is supposed to be, presenting a viewpoint and arguing for it. Whether you agree with her opinion or not is a different matter, but don't judge it as something it isn't.
