@Chernnunos: I put in about 20 hours when it launched and haven't touched it since any updates came out. I want to wait for a few more to really get the best experience out of the game, but these 3 updates are really pulling me back to it. Idk if i can wait now lol
I played my switch for probably less then 10 hours since I bought it like 3 months ago. I'm debating selling it now while I can still get 100% of my money back if not even more.
Destiny 2: "I Hope People Complain About How Much Story We Have"
Me: i hOpe PEopLe cOmPlaiN aBoUt HOw mUCh sToRy wE haVE
And let's not forget this quote on the back of the game case for the original Destiny... "Destiny is a next generation shooter with "RICH CINEMATIC STORYTELLING" set in huge worlds to explore..." and so on.
I was really hyped up for this sequel. An opportunity for Bungie to redeem themselves. The first Destiny had SO much potential but turned out to be the biggest letdown in gaming history to me (maybe second to No Man's Sky). They got the gameplay down to perfection but completely missed out on the importance of writing and telling a good story. But after seeing all this gameplay, I can see that nothing changed and I'm probably going to sit this one out like I did with most of Destiny's DLC. This "sequel" looks no different from the original. I mean ffs Call of Duty games that come out every year make more changes than this sequel does...
@Intocable: No, it pretty much looks more like another DLC to Destiny then a full and improved sequel. The trailers look amazing, much hype, but the gameplay videos just look like more of the same. Unless this game gets spectacular reviews i'll probably pass.
I only wanted two skins from this event. I got every arcade loot box I could on pc AND on xbox, bought 72 loot boxes...and got almost everything BUT the two I wanted. I hate this random loot bs.
