SlickSteve..........Understandable. I guess it would suck to have the swinging motion of a golf club suddenly shank a shot because the controller started vibrating during the contact with the ball (this will make sense to those of you that love playing Tiger Woods Golf).

You know, I don't even think I notice anymore when the PS2 controller vibrates, I think it's just because almost all games take advantage of force-feedback anymore, so I've become so used to it. Overall, I don't think I'll really miss the rumble, but none-the-less it's still a step backwards. I wonder why Sony decided to do this. Maybe controller was just too heavy with it?

My Opinion: I would love to get a PS3, but I have other bills to pay. Unfortunately I'm not able to just throw down 500 to 600 bucks at the drop of a hat. Sure, I could just run up the ol' credit-card, but I'm smarter than that. I would also love to get a 360, but still not even willing to pay 300 or 400 bucks for that either. I miss the good ol' days when you could get the systems for $100 or $150. Sure, I could save $50 to $100 a paycheck and eventually have enough to buy the PS3, but I just don't think it's worth it when I still have 20 some PS2 games I haven't even touched yet and also that in about 2 years the PS3 will drop in price anyway. Now I'm not complaining about the prices, don't get me wrong. I think the PS3 is a bargain because Blu-Ray is brand new technology, it's going to be rather pricey for a whie (remember when DVD first came out?). And the fact that it also has the top of the line graphics (same goes for the 360), so both machines are a pretty good bargain. They will be an even better bargain in a couple of years when the technology is more common and manufacturing is more eficient. PS3 is definitely a better deal for me because it can play the Blu-Ray movies, but not everyone has a HDTV and doesn't care about the HD movies. I, on the other hand, have an HDTV and would love to get the Blu Ray, but I'm going to wait until it's more affordable. If you're just looking for a gaming machine and don't have HDTV or don'g care about HD movies, then I would reccomend the 360 because it will save you money. Now if you're LOADED with dolla bills, then buy both! I stray away from the whole Sony fan and MS fan stuff. It's a waste of time and somewhat childish. What good does it do for anyone to bash the opposing company? It's not like you're actually able to change anyone's opinion. You're actually just wasting your own time by bashing someone when you could be using that time to study more on games. Instead, I go for what makes more sense. If I didn't have an HDTV, I would buy the 360 because it costs less. But since I have HD, I'll probably end up buying the PS3 (eventually when costs come down) so that I can watch movies in HD. -Again, just my opinion
