not a good year - my mum spent much of the summer in hospital and has had three operations after fracturing both a knee and an elbow.

I'm taking care of her though

I still have family in Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota. Friends in Canada.

I am glad I decided to live in California when I moved back to America.

it is warm enough to go outside with no coat

I'm not a vegan because my brain hasn't vegetated to the point of being so inactive that I can't eat anything but vegetable mush

I do like vegetables, but only to fill the room on my plate in between pork and beef

Gay approved movies

made me laugh

why does that make you laugh?

it is advertised as such on the LOGO Channel.

or is it because the thought of watching Gay movies is exciting :)

Holy shit, wonder what Rodman's got to say about this.

@

total b.s. which anyone with a weibo account would recognize right away.

do better research - If it sounds too weird to be true then it probably is not true.

this story was invented by a Chinese blogger on the tencent blogging site and it isn't the first "tall tale" about North Korea that has been believed by the west.

this was already picked up on the BBC News, their Chinese Bureau wrote a cautionary blog about being too gullible.

I thought Hollywood was supposed to be run by Jewish people.

I thought Hollywood was run by rich liberals which is alright by me since i'm a relatively poor liberal.

Maybe, if it wasn't for my deep voice. But I'd rather not find out, actually.

most drags queens exaggerate their performance of femininity, which is quite different from transgender/transsexual people who take on a more tradition performance of the opposite sex

don't knock it until you've tried it.

lamprey seems to be an expert on drag queens. I hang out in gay bars as often as straight bars and I would never generalize either straight or gay people in that manner. You can not stereotype drag queens...many of them are straights who siimply like performing.

not anymore when I was young and pretty I did look damn good.

My sister helped with my first couple make overs, introduced me around and snickered while the guys asked for my number.

and for all the LGBT gamers here - if you have access to the LOGO channel that is an LGBT cable network that while it does have some straight programming now it also continues to show quite a few Gay approved movies most of which are of surprisingly high quality......or rather it is not a surprise at the attention that is paid to the quality of the acting and the stories in LGBT films - there are fewer of them so more care is paid to insure that they are of good quality.
