@aldronlin @iamzeroxx @Mr_Big_Boss But why is that a bad thing though? Again I am not defending DRM, I am just trying to understand why this is an issue.
I really don't understand what all the fuss is about. I mean, I am no fan of DRM but at the same time it's nothing new. If you get a PC most of the games now are all digitally distributed and you can't lend them, borrow them or trade them in i.e., Steam and Origin. This has now been going on for a while and all of a sudden it's an issue now? Why the hypocritical reaction?
I find this funny. This is how you know most of the people voting on these things are a bunch of 16 year old kids, because none of them have bank accounts.
@JOHN1486 @iamzeroxx @kfgelbart That's a pretty big judgement to make though, don't you think? I am pretty sure I played the same games from EA you guys have. And although I don't agree with everything they do and not all their games were great I don't view them as the worst company in the world and I certainly don't feel betrayed. Which is why I feel a lot of this hate is unwarranted.
@LukeWesty @lorider25 So it isn't a DRM issue then? It's an issue of laziness. I just find it so hypocritical to choose one over the other; to single out one over the other when they basically do the same thing. DRM is still forced on you in either case and you opt for the provider who you view a lesser evil? Or simply because having two providers is all of a sudden a colossal inconvenience? It all just sounds to me like blind hatred.
