[QUOTE="finalfantasy94"]They would need to build a new engine for the wii version. plus alot I mean alot would need to be taken out. See all the villagers the PS3/360 version has it would be deducted by half or more.The_Pig_Hostage

Well, wouldn't building a new engine help with the latter? I mean what's the point of a new engine if they'd still have to pull stuff out of the game?

In either case, I don't think they want to give the player the best experience possible and that's probably why it's only announced for the Xbox 360 and PS3 so far. Now I'm not saying that the Wii is a bad console (I don't even have one yet), but it just can't provide that same detail that the X360 and PS3 can, either in terms of graphics or sound. Which would result in them having to build an entire new engine for the game which is both expensive and timeconsuming, so it makes sense. And let's be honest here, would anyone really want them to shove a new game on to an old engine (RE4)? I know I sure wouldn't.

With that said though, I wouldn't be surprised if we do see RE5 for the Wii a couple of months after the release for other systems, since they probably could just scale everything down.

"I don't think they want to give the player the best experience possible" um... that was a typo, right? If so, I agree with everything you said. :-P

Indeed, that was a typo ^^.

Zombie Genocider in Dead Rising. Simply because it requires an enitre playthrough of the game devoted to that purpose.

Obsessed? No. I do however do what I can to get the most out of a game, unless it has me doing something I really don't like doing. Such as the multiplayer achievements in The Darkness.

Perfect Dark Zero and Saint's Row. I trusted you, Gamespot! :P. Hehe, nah Gamespot is usually right on track, although in those two cases I really don't get the high scores they received.
