She was pretty a much female mix of James Bond and Indiana Jones. Original Lara needed no man, kicked ass, battled gods, mafia lords, dinosaurs and other supernatural beings, she also had a tongue and cheek fun personality. In the other hand modern Lara is such a bland and generic character you can put her in ANY action game and you wouldn't even notice..

@newbpwnr: Seriously? Emissaries are "technically" loot boxes but all they give you is gold, order resources, crappy gear and the bonus boxes MIGHT give you a mount, that's pretty much it! You're not force to do the emissaries since you can get all that (but the mounts) doing pretty much anything else in the game.
