@drysprocket: Proving his whole point.

With so much salt out there, talking about it just brings out the hate. So rather than promise improvements, they just improved.

Its like pure putting your money where your mouth is. Don't promise results, just give them. And it worked.

Im hating this trend. I left cable because it cost so much for base, and then you had to pay extra for every section of it you wanted.

Now the same thing is happening with streaming, Instead of one place, i now need HBO, Disney, Netflix, Amazon prime..... where will it end...oh wait, i know.....with my wallet. Screw em all.

I enjoyed the office several times end to end. I would be happy if they made another show with the same format, i think they could do something cool using a similiar formula. But dont try to bring back The office

@Schizycho: Wouldn't the the analogy be more, GoG is the street level hookup, where you can say what you want, and they will call their buddy and hook you up.

This wont change who you buy the game from, If it was GoG, it will still be GoG. If it was Epic exclusive, it still will be.

It wont even change the platform you install/play it on. You still need Uplay/Microsoftstore/Epic etc...installed as normal.

I dont see how any of that changes at all.

I love what GoG is doing, accessing all my content from one spot sounds like a great feature. But its not like they are opening a store that all content are on. They are just tracking as the middleman. So an App, to open another app that has the game.

And a lot of the "intended" functionality still comes down to these other platforms participating and supporting this.

This sounds great, and i would be glad not to have to search all these storefronts to find which has my game purchased (as i dont have it all installed, so not just in my games list)

But there is no

"GoG be comin in like a young robin hood, stealing that candy back and sharing it will everyone."

More like, Hey which of the 7 storefronts did i purchase that game i want to play, Ill ask GoG.

@illegal_peanut: I paid full price on release, got a dozen hours..stopped playing. I go back for an hour every month or so...so far i still say not worth the current price.

I would love it if these heroes had a single feature that differentiated a cash unlock vs a earned unlock. Just something small like logo on the chest or something.

I predict another failed steambox type product. Its going to be hard to break into that market. They will need the financial might to develop a competative product with a huge lineup, bleed money for at least a full generation, losing on every console sold, and then still enough left to put out a competative product the next cycle. So about 5 years of financial suicide to see if they get lucky.
