I wished they'd announced a complete remake of Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2/Misteries of the Sith as well, coincidentally I'm replaying the whole Jedi Knight saga and man I forgot how awesome even the first chapter was (I'm not counting Dark Forces 1 since it wasn't a Jedi Knight game). A new remastered version of all the saga would be awesome, those games still holds up extremely well but there are some parts that would really benefit from some polishing.
Great video! I all the behind the scenes video you make, both in studio and during events like E3, but it's very difficult to find the older one, could you put them all in a single place, like a youtube playlist (or channel) or create a dedicate section on the site please? It would be awesome! :D
@Gamer_4_Fun I have the same problem most of the time. I reduce quality to a minimum but still I have to pause and wait a couple of minutes to let the entire video buffer (more if it's a longer video like review or gameplay). :(
@getupandboogie For what I've understand Random Encounter is now "randomized", it's not a fixed appointment anymore, they do it when they have time. I don't know about The Point though, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope is just Danny being on vacation, it was already hard to say goodbye to EFMS (although The Point is a great improvement on that formula). The Point is by far the best gaming show I've ever seen in years, I really hope it isn't gone.
I really don't understand all the hate against Rage, it was a fantastic game, with probably the best animation and dangerous enemies of any FPS that came out in the same period. The graphic was beautiful with an almost rock solid 60fps frame rate, also the art direction was very good (derivative given the Mad Max like setting, but still very good) and it was IMHO much better than Crysis for what regard the "easiness of understanding the enviroment", Crysis was beautiful, but it had a lot of problem mainly tied to its color palette wich was too homogenous and thus it was hard to really understand all the things you were seeing on the screen (hence wasting the good graphic). Rage instead manage to make everything stand out even with a setting that was probably even more homogenous than Crysis. It was almost like the color lush enviroment of Halo, where you can be enthralled by the beautiful vistas and at the same time understand everything that's going on at a glance. Also many of the enviroment were rendered in such a beautiful way that they looked hand painted... I really really think people should give a second chance to that game (and I'm really sad there won't probably be a sequel, although without Carmack writing the engine I'm not sure if it's such a bad thing).
