Most of them. I couldn't afford L4D2, Wet, Risen, RE5, Uncharted 2, Arkham and most of the DLC that came out for various games.

It's a culture, it's a hobby, it's a pass-time, it's a passion.

Right now? Bayonetta, and it's hardly been out for long. In general though... The Sims, Mario Kart, Guitar Hero and many other of those sort of games that're aimed at the "casual gaming" market.

I always worry about this also. Occasionally when playing DA:O I switched quickly to easy for a period of time; normally to do one little bit in order to progress in the story. Not because I couldn't do it - if I had applied myself I would have done it eventually - but becaused I found the story so gripping that I just wanted to get the messy bits out of the way and done with. In the end I decided it's sort of like, if I read sober rather than through blurry alcohol eyes, does it make me a poor reader? Well, no, it just actually gets the book finished before I lose my patience. :P I remember when I was playing L4D on a mate's PC also - I switched it to "easy" because I didn't know the controls (other than WASD and mouseclick, duh) and he was moaning about ruining his online profile or something. Then people started moaning at me; "EURRGHHH YOU'RE PLAYING IT ON EASY? THAT'S STUPID". It really did my head in - it's not like I was DYING on easy.

I never even noticed when they got rid of it. I actually liked the PS1 game boot best of all, that music was cool.

I agree with both points you make. The orange sony triangles and the zschoooooom noise is just unforgetable really. I don't notice much about the PS3's interface anymore. It's all too flowy and sparkly. I'm not complaining, it's very pretty, but it's not as memorable as the orange triangles.

Yeah, I get what you mean about the multiple choice. Usually I like to check everywhere if I have suspicions I'm not going to get chance to again, but it's always the one time I'm rushing through the game that I miss something vital.

I'm not sure what my gripes with games would be. There's quite a few things that I pick up on.

Hm. I guess I sort of dislike it when I'm made to name my character but it never actually gets used, like in Mass Effect - I'm just "Shephard". I mean, obviously I don't expect game developers to implement some sort of software to turn text names in to phonetic voice files (that would triple the game's RRP I'm sure), but then surely there is no point in naming my character? It's really trivial, but it annoys me. At least in Fable you remain as "Hero".

The only other thing I could complain about in general is when games have an unrealistic random encounter system. "Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled" was a typical example of this; two steps and I'd be in another battle.

Tyria, from GW. My first thought was Cyrodiil, but I'd probably have gotten fed up with the rain and bandits.

I do not see AFK anywhere on that list. We cannot be on the internet forever, folks.

[QUOTE="Travo_basic"]Why did you feel the need to pronounce genre?LZ71
 I was wondering this myself...

And me. On topic though: Electronic music, more specifically UK Hardcore.

I get knocked back for Gaming mags with 18-rated demo's in them. I also get knocked back for Anadin. That is embarassing, and makes me want to not be short anymore.
