I don't mind it sometimes, like when I got given a £25 giftcard to Topshop - that was useful because everything in there is overpriced anyway. But if someone got me a tenner on a giftcard... What could I do with that? I'd have to buy hair clips or heart-shaped-chocolates or something.

I would prefer just to be handed bank notes though, even if it "doesn't have as much thought" or whatever.

I do not think before I speak. If I don't get something I want, I take it personally and feel deflated for ages. I read too deeply in to everything. I could carry on, but I don't feel it should be "Self-depreciating Sunday" just yet.

Probably £130/140 at an absolute max. I wanted to have as much left over as possible to get a good PSU like CoolerMaster or Corsair or something. : ) If I get a more expensive GFX card, I'll have to get a cheaper PSU which might not be so good. :/

Just before I order I wanted to check I was getting the best out of my money;

I'm about to upgrade from my 9500GT to the HD 4870 (1GB). It's costing me about £110 which is pretty much what I wanted to spend as I have saved long enough (and also need to save to buy a new PSU).

I used the stickied list for reference, and I couldn't find any other cards in the top 20 around my price range. I've checked reviews (and all seems positive), but I want to make sure I am doing the right thing before I hand over a hundred quid. :P
