@Xx_DemonSoul_xX @Gamerno6666 Hopefully $1,000 is one of the options for one with top-end specs and $100 for a low end streaming box.. and everything in between.

@uchihasilver It looks like different configurations at different price points, from fully blown game machines to much lighter machines designed just to stream from your gaming PC.

@MajahretDiviera I think they'd be happy for the XBL subscription. You would have to have the game in your digital library, so it means they can ensure both themselves and the developers/publishers have also benefited.

I think it's better to encourage people to go digital with features rather than force them to go digital with a stick. Something they seemed to have learned and taken on board recently.

@pboontap I don't think it's subscription based (apart from gold being a necessity like always).. I think you have to buy the game, then can stream it as much or as little as you like.

@suprastaruk The manufacturers have basically sold out of their pre-order stock allocations. I think it's Eddie (article author) saying they may have a hard time selling based on 64% of the surveyed people saying they don't want a games console. Of course, people who don't play games are not really going to be interested in a new games console, so I'm not sure why he made that comment.

Maybe the sample polled were only people who already owned a games console? But it doesn't say that anywhere.. so I think it's perfectly reasonable that 65% of the US population are not gamers or are happy with mobile/facebook gaming.

@nomadic_topgun Me too.. I enjoyed playing with friends.. so we bought gaming laptops so we could play together on PC. About £2k every other year was expensive so we jumped on board consoles instead.. playing split screen games.. Just as much fun and it only cost £300 for the past three years.

The games are more expensive, but the price comparison for how we enjoy gaming was no comparison.

@SurfaceNerd @anonymouszomby @GrendelSP Someone cuts in front of me in a queue I am angry. I'm not helpless.. I go and get them out of the queue. I'm angry.

But as a generalisation, it's a pretty good one.. just not 100% accurate.
