@Mar_Sama I think they just wanted their main-stream game on the new consoles. I'm quite a light battlefield player.. but BC was certainly my favourite.

@mastaace46 @robertcain EA later said that it plans to rotate between Battlefield, Titanfall, and Star Wars: Battlefront as the publisher's main annual shooter.

@goutetsuo I'm sure MS will take you medical application suggestions to heart... Although it may need to be reduced in size for some patients.

@de-astroturfer They could also stop you playing games at all on the XB1, or turn it into a big advertising banner, or make it OLPC device. That's what firmware updates are all about.. as can Sony or Nintendo... but I'm pretty sure none of them will.

@EcksTheory Exploitation implies lack of choice. Piracy is just the criminal act of theft and has no justification.

@bunchanumbers They may just mean support in terms of the system itself.. not necessarily games. The 360 dashboard / app support / tv support etc.. has all been excellent.

I think once past the first couple of years, first party games are not so important.

@uchihasilver @gamespotpanayis Agreed.. but when I switched from mouse/keyboard I thought it was like running through treacle..

But then I saw guys that had only ever game on consoles and they were almost as fast as PC controls.. a few years on and I am still worse on a controller.. but good enough to enjoy playing without worrying about it.

Maybe this new controller will be better than it first looks with a bit of practice..

But it does look horrible!

The one positive thing is that if devs start coding for that central touchpad, PS4 touchpad usage will become a lot more clever, which can only be good for Sony.
