@zerojuice: There are a lot of short uninspired titles out there. But imo, the few games that are good…are REALLY GOOD. Especially VR horror. It’s hard for me to go back to 2D horror games haha. Don’t get me wrong, I still love them, but I’m always drooling and wishing they had VR ports. But luckily VorpX exists for some games for that purpose. Even games like Fallout 4 VR that I already played in 2D. The experience feels completely different and was well worth the price for me even if I’d already played all the missions. But that’s on my headset and my experience. If you haven’t had that nice of an experience with VR, I hope you will some day with future tech. It may not be perfect, but as a gamer, it really is fun to see where the future can potentially go with gaming.

@phili878: Yeah, as @TreeChopper88 was saying, the high end headsets can look really good with some games. I have a Vive Pro, but even when I first started with PSVR, I got used to the low resolution. Personally, I found that the brain stops noticing when you start playing. Especially when I played Resident Evil 7 in VR. Sure, the textures might not be as crisp in VR, but I’m tellin you, the experience is so much damn scarier. And really, I’d rather feel like I’m really being chased by something with 17/20 vision then feel like a guy I’m controlling on a monitor with detailed graphics. And when I got the Vive Pro, everything got even more immersive. But if you still couldn’t get that immersion feeling, I hope you can feel it someday with future tech because it really is an incredible experience. It’s hard to go back to 2D horror for me personally lol.

@clockworkengine: Super agree. You can argue that shooters, racing, space sims are all very special in VR, but it’s hard to beat VR horror once you’ve experienced it. I still love 2D horror games, but the tension is on a whole other level. Glad to see some other people loving it too

@aaronlav: Totally with you lol. Except for me, I built my first PC in 2018 because I wanted the Vive Pro with the wireless adapter, so I felt like my bank account got hit with a truck at the end of that month. So it was $1000 and then some hahaha. Was totally worth it though. Long lasting investment

@Simulator_Shock: True lol. But I feel like Abby may have done the same given the chance. She was lucky that her target just happened to stroll on into the cabin she was staying in. Had she tried to sneak into their main base in Jackson, she may have tried to kill anyone that got in her way too

@stickemup: Ellie and Abby had the same exact motivations lol. Revenge. They were just avenging different people. And they both learned their lessons in the end that revenge is never the answer for healing trauma. Not sure why so many people have trouble understanding her motivations as a character. Or at least how the writers intended it.

@kurohei: It’s the same kind of people that go abuse their wives after their boss fires them. Some people just redirect their anger at whoever is easiest, no matter who was actually responsible. It doesn’t matter whether it makes sense or will change anything, they just need to vent at the easiest target…

@DeadlyMustard: Exactly! This is why any games that are announced with being Free to Play, I just ignore them. Some of the games genuinely have cool looking concepts and look like they have otherwise fun gameplay and universes. But in the end, I know it’s always gonna have those long grinds I don’t have time for.

@Ultima_Dragoon: Oh I can easily imagine it lol. You’d be surprised, but there are PLENTY of people out there with incredible amounts of free time and lack of funds. Without safe guards in place, programs like this can easily be taken advantage of.
