Oh, and to the people bashing Burke for going to the pride parade...go f*ck yourself. That is all.

JohnBean42
lol, people care that much about his personal life? I'm also happy with McClement, a good role player it seems like. It feels like our Marlies are stocked up a lot, I have never seen us have such a rich farm system. EVER. The goalie situation for here won't be solved until we know where Luongo and Brodeur are going. I can't picture Brodeur playing for the Leafs, even if he would be a great mentor to Reimer and Scrivens (that goes with any team's young talent), but I just can't ever picture him without a Devils uniform. There are other goalies on the market, yes, but for the time being it would probably look like Reimer/Scrivens between the pipes on the Leafs and a rotation of Mark Owuya, Jussi Rynnäs, and Garrett Sparks on the Marlies/Reading Royals. Glad we re-signed Frattin for two years, and we also landed Mike Kostka, just coming off his Calder Cup championship with Norfolk against Toronto. I'm happy for Gustavsson, hopefully Detroit treats him well. Such bad luck here.

Thank goodness Italy not only lost, but got crushed. My mother's side of the family may be Italian, but I've already sided with the Croatian side of the family. So I sort of wanted Spain to win just to spite those f***ers, but my sentiments are still "f*** Spain" after they beat us in group stage.

Justin Schultz is set to make his decision soon. Wayne Gretzky called him up to help Edmonton's pitch for him

Apparently Luongo's asking price is too high for Burke, but reports say Roberto is only interested in going to Florida now.

Hands down the Montréal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators. a little bit on the Yankees, but I don't follow baseball that much. The Italian national football team, for their constant whining and diving. I just wish Croatia beat them in their group match in the Euro, but that being said, we're still undefeated against them. My mother's side of the family is Italian, my father is Croatian. I made it clear which side I was taking.

[QUOTE="JohnBean42"] And St. Louis eh? I haven't read that today...I did briefly read someone in the Toronto media (forget who) speculate it could be Halak or Berglund or something. But I ignored it. Hendrick said it was still on and he knows who is involved....can't say though. Maybe it has to do with Luo? Or Nashville? Nonis, Burke and Loiselle were all talking to Poille at the draft. Don't know who though... Anyways, doubt he made it up, and had to of got Leafs permission to say such a thing. Only time will tell. It would be nice to come home from my final exam and have a big trade.

I heard Chris Stewart's name was involved in it. But it is all speculation for now.

Great trade for the Leafs today. They actually got something for Gus:shock:

Nah, just kidding. The Schenn trade was great. I see him nothing more than a 4/5 defenseman at best, and JVR is a top 6 forward at worst. Can play any forward spot. I'd love Lupul-JVR-Kessel.

And according to Twitter, Burke isn't done:

Paul Hendrick?@HennyTweets

Schenn to flyers for jvr...leafs not done yet.#tmltalk

I'll trust him. That was 6 hours ago, but as of a couple hours ago, he said it was still on...whatever it is. I think Komi goes, or we get another top 6 forward...somehow.

The latest speculation I heard was involving St. Louis.

I'm happy with Morgan Rielly, he'll probably be taking notes from J-M Liles and Gardiner on the blueline considering his style. I also thought we would get Forsberg in the draft, but I'm not all that picky. I am really scared about the Oilers in a few years. Just imagine Nugent-Hopkins, Hall, and Yakupov on the same line. Now we wait a week for the opening of free agent day. Perhaps the upcoming few days will be interesting with trades, but I don't know. I'm still doubting the Leafs will land Luongo, and Justin Schultz too. I just want to see confirmation.

To the Leafs fan here how much are tickets for a leafs game? Swanogt19
I can personally answer this unfortunately being a sheep paying for tickets for two games. It also varies between teams the Leafs are playing, and I guarantee you Leafs v. Habs is always going to be more expensive than any other ticket here. I saw the Leafs play the Rangers and Flyers. The Rangers game was standing room and costed something ridiculous $120 each. The Flyers game was near $150, and that was upper bowl still. The leafs lost both games, and didn't score a single goal at either of them (the Rangers game I went to had Martin Biron in net instead of Lundqvist, and they won 3-0. The Flyers game was much more enjoyable, a really tight, 0-0 game up to the shootout and Giroux ending it with that nifty deke on Gustavsson). I refuse to buy any more tickets until this team proves their worth. And that was the first time I saw them play live in about three years, just to show you how stupidly expensive the tickets are to the loyal fans. They cater to the Bay Street businessmen more than they do their actual fans.

Also, on the topic of Parise. There are still the f***ing stupid nationalist detractors that believe management and the organization wants an "All-American team", and some people would not want Parise because of said prejudice. Not that he's coming to the Leafs, but still. They can f*** themselves.
