Leafs win a very slow paced game against the Canadiens, lol

Of course you're looking forward to it. The Leafs are probably going to get dominated. Edit: sorry for being brash, but when there is no sense of optimism... I suppose we should have a very little reason to be optimistic with our prospects helping out the Marlies considerably.

All games through December 30th cancelled. That being said, I've merely found other means to procrastinate. But it would be nice to watch my (crappy) team play anyway.

As for the lockout politics, yes, both sides have been ridiculous, but if you cannot honour contracts that have been signed (and basically, legally binding), why would you offer such deals in the first place?

Well, as least the Marlies are doing good, and the lockout could serve as great additional development for Matt Frattin, Jake Gardiner, among the other prospects as well. 6 wins in the last 7 games feels good. And of course monkeytoes and johnbean are correct in saying that there's plenty of good hockey being played. I don't get how some people can say there isn't any hockey. It might not be widely available, but it's still going by. I still miss my Leafs though. But at least, non-hockey wise, the Jays with that blockbuster trade (although I'm unsure if it's been approved by Selig yet), Toronto seems like it might be coming back to the early 90s (although i was too young to experience any of it, being born in 1992). One could only hope for major league championships in the near future, but it's only wishful thinking. EDIT: albeit, I'm definitely not as big of a Jays fan as John here, but they still have that whole "special place in my heart" type of deal. :v

I always thought 5 year contracts were long enough. I see no hassle in just re-signing for an additional 5 years later. Things are starting to heat up a bit with Seattle. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2012/07/27/investor-calls-seattle-the-best-market-in-the-united-states-that-does-not-have-a-hockey-team/

why the Bryz shirt? Swanogt19
Mostly lulz. I fell in love with his personality during 24/7, it was hard not to like him.

I like the cheesesteak touch. I bought a Maple Leafs t-shirt and an Ilya Bryzgalov player t-shirt. :v Maybe I'll get a James van Riemsdyk Leafs tee soon.

Jaromir Jagr has signed a one year deal with the Dallas Stars.
