Also, in case you were wondering where I was for that Game 7 between the Bruins and Leafs: I can't even begin to describe it.

I wish it was October already. Looking forward to seeing Bernier in the blue and white. Don't like Clarkson's contract length. I thought Bolland was a nice pick up at the draft, and both him and Clarkson are just the kind of players Carlyle adores. Now, if only Nonis can somehow keep both Kadri and Franson... ):

Ya, it's been a while. Leafs can clinch tomorrow, 9-1-4 in last 14. Reimer 5th in SV% now. Kessel and Phaneuf have been excellent. Things really looking up. It'd be cool to win the division but I doubt it.

And people will think I'm crazy, but Leafs deserve some trophy consideration. Reimer for Vezina, Kessel for Hart, possibly Phaneuf for Norris but a the last 2 are longshots. But it's being thrown around on radio and Twitter by non-Leaf reporters as well. If Bobvrosky and/or Lundqvist are getting consideration and don't make the playoffs...why can't Reimer? And he WILL make it.

That's true, but I think Bobrovsky is a serious contender for both the Hart and Vezina. He is so integral to the Blue Jackets' push right now, if they didn't have him, they wouldn't even be in the race. I'm so excited for tonight! I really wish it didn't have to come down to Winnipeg losing in regulation, but if none of that happens tonight, we always have Thursday or Saturday!

Oooooooh, that victory over the Habs was fvcking sweet. My apologies for not being around for a looong time, and I don't think John as posted in a while either. ): Anyway, look what I got a few days ago. The cheapskates wanted extra to put the patch on the shoulder (it was sold separately), so I opted out.

I'd be more in line for suspending Holzer for his boarding on McGinn than an alleged bite by Grabbo when Pacioretty was pulling him back by his face. (Edit: That being said, I don't think Holzer's intent was to injure McGinn either, but it looked really bad.)

The last 2 Leaf games have been 2 of the best I've seen in a while. Only negative: Reimer is hurt. For how long though, I don't know. Hopefully it isn't serious, but he couldn't even move his leg. He's has been excellent this season. Still big win, great job by Scrivens to shut the door on short notice. Oh and  @ Schenn on the JVR goal. Great to see the ACC so loud and giving them a standing O.

This team just seems...different. Every line is playing hard, the 4th line has had some great shifts lately, and the goaltending has been stellar...even though Carlyle has made some odd choices, most have worked..

They could just be giving us a false sense of hope like every other season. :P But really, Carlyle has been excellent. I haven't seen a Leafs squad play like this since I was 9 years old, with the likes of Sundin, Roberts, Tucker, Mogilny, Joseph... I really wish 2002 was our year. ):

That was by far the best performance by the Leafs I've seen in a looooooooong time. Hopefully their awesome play on the road can translate into a good win streak at home now.
