Taking a page of From Software with the obscurity are you? I guess that's trending nowadays. 3 trailers and we still have no idea what's going on in this game.

You can tell that Walmart leak prior to e3 really hurt their presentation. My guess was that Rage 2 and Fallout 76 were to be featured heavily. But because half their presentation of Fallout was in Microsoft's stage, and Rage 2 already revealed, they probably had a huge gaping hole in their briefing. Which they filled with 10 second clips of games we want to see but are nowhere near the level of completion to show anything of worth eg. Starfield, Doom Eternal, ES6 even Wolfenstein was a short clip. Good thinking to be sure but it couldn't have been easy to slap together those trailers in a month. Points to them for improvising, but like everyone else I wanted more of the last 2 games and less on the mobile nonsense...which was actually pretty cool this time around.

The decision to make this an online game will affect the scope of the story of this game. Story...which is the backbone of this franchise. This is not good news if this is the direction Fallout is going. However, if it is more a branching out sort of deal then I'm all for it so long as it doesn't become a cash grab. Which every one of this type of game is sadly. I mean we have ESO and a new Elder Scrolls game on the way presumed to be single player as we all have come to enjoy. I didn't like ESO but i still play Skyrim. Who's to say we can't have the same sort of deal for Fallout? Fallout 4 wasn't that long ago.

I just hope what they show for Death Stranding is not near as obscure. Up until now it's kind of reminded me of that Mr Plow commercial Homer Simpson paid that ad company to make.

"Is that your game Hideo??"

"I DON'T KNOW!!"

@ccgod: I too fell for the trailer trap of the Division. I bought it at launch and traded the first chance i got I did not like it at all. I actually do not believe that consoles can make an MMO any good for one we lack the community for it and two we lack the tech. Destiny 2 almost seemed to attempt to fix the mistakes of the 1st and they did for the first maybe half hour only to give up shortly after and make the same mistakes. Unfortunately the nature of e3 is to overhype every game. Mostly to boast awareness of the products but nowadays so few deliver what they promise. It's like everyone is Lionhead Studios now. Thank goodness for games that deliver like Zelda Breath of the Wild, and God of War.

What an incredible game this was. Quite the gamble too the way I see it. To make such dramatic changes to the gameplay type on a game of this level of prestige. I mean if he did this and the game sucked...this director would likely have had to kiss his job goodbye. Good thing it happened to be the best game they've made in 10 years and better than its previous installments which is a rarity these days. Big time respect to Cory Balrog. Though I bet half of that emotional video he posted after the reviews were tears of sheer relief. Great balance of story and gameplay. The map was huge without being overwhelming. The progression of both story and gameplay was almost engineered to keep you in your seat and enjoying every moment. Even the most frustrating parts of the game are not "throw the controller at the screen" frustration but more "I'm gonna get that S.O.B" frustration. My only negative is a spoiler and as such I will not shed light on it. You guys gave it a 9/10. I'd give it a 9.5/10. Keep at it Cory you make all developers proud (at least I hope so I am not one of them).

He must have been trying to explain Snoke in general, Rey's parantage, and how Kylo Ren looks like neither Han nor Leia. HOW DARE HE!! That's is simply unacceptable to the Imperial Disney Empire. Their goals clearly do not include having a plausible continuation to the series that made us give them our money in the first place. He sought to undo their work of butchering the childhoods of the people of the last 30 years. No wonder they backed EA.

@gunnyninja: I would not not advise anyone to stop dating on one bad date. But when they all keep running from you gotta take a good long look in the mirror and say..."it might just be me". Which is precisely where I believe EA games is right now. Or would be if they were not arrogant money grubbers with no soul. I for one am glad you enjoyed those games. Your a minority though viewed only by the fact you are the only one who conveyed such enjoyment.

I think I speak for everyone who played Mass Effect 1 & 2 when I say...BOOOOOO!!!

I believe I once claimed that EA games was killing Bioware's soul as we speak. With this article I rest my case. Glorious was the Bioware of old and not so old. Baulder's Gate, Knights of the old Republic, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, the list goes on. All of them SINGLE PLAYER focused RPG focused and superior to the rest in their genre. This is the same path of disaster that Bungie took after they bungled the Destiny series. One could argue they want to try new things which is respectable...if it was actually new. But a story based multiplayer game....isn't that The Division and didn't it SUCK? This to me is simply more of what made them money and made them Periahs. Good on you EA. We're all told we shouldn't have to change for anyone and neither did you. Even if everyone hates you...

"Who is he? Who the hell is he? Is he CIA?!" - any and all enemies in Far Cry 2

"You can hide from god...sinner" - any and all enemies in Far Cry 5

Needless to say improvements were required from both. Gameplay obviously goes to FC5 in every way. But the story of FC2 is vast VASTLY better. Contrarily FC5 had Clutch Nixon who could be the hero of any man. The legend of heaven, the legend of hell, and his first name was Clutch (who does that?!).

We play games and so gameplay is most important. I have to give it to 5 even though I really do not want to. But you should know that our family does not send STATUS UPDATES.
