Came here directly from Kotaku and its a bit ridiculous own Regie don't assume the fact that their products names are consusing for most of the mass. Many people can make the difference but still they don't believe in the console and casual market think its a new peripheral (a wii tablet add-on). I got my WiiU a month ago for 200$ and its a pretty solid system with great potential. If the developper try to make good titles the WiiU can perform as good as between the N64 and the Gamecube wich is a good and modest performance. I'm curious to see who Microsoft and Sony will succeed. Maybe most of the main market have too much expectations about the next gen and they will bash at any bumps ahead.

Needless to say the consumer is confused. Why not make a 3DS without 3D adaptor for the Wii and WiiU instead like the super gameboy or the gameboy player. And of course lets call it all the same variation (Wii, WiiU, DS, 3DS, 3DSXL, 2DS) so they confuse even more the casual crowd they are actually targetting ?

@nyran125tk Some kids will like it and want to play like in 20 years from now some kids will read Harry Potter books. I wish my kids will have this kind of curiosity. Its not because something is old that its bad. Its bad when its baddly execute to make profit or keep the IP alive at all cost. But what is bad for you could be good for another ie: Mario Wii U, I'm personnally done with mario for the moment but for some kids its their first Mario game they will play.

@nigelholden Agreed and in the future I want to show to my kid what's Mario and Zelda. They will start with the more recent version than play with the originals if they want to. I see videogame like movie. If I enjoy the last King Kong movie or whatever recurent movie I should try to wtach the original for my own culture. I like how to media evolve ie: Comparing the Dawn of the dead (original) and Dawn of the Dead (remake) or the two separate Batman series.

@golden_ashen @frankj22 Got your point. Its not because im done with this IP that it should stop to exist, you're right. I just dont like when IP are exploited and the content suffer of poor implementation. Too much franchises have this problem. Hope their next announcement gonna keep things fresh.

@Decaplayer33 I did the same and we're on the same page. Its brillant. I like the recuiting citizens part. Its ridiculous: you're fat, or a kid, or a business guy, or a house wife hanging down the street...Bang... you're in the Wonderline now and I can use you has a weapon. It feel like a mashup of Pikmin, Viewful Joe and Katamari.

@Tadgerot I understant you. I pick up a WiiU 2 weeks ago and I discover something more refreshing then I tought. Wonderful101 demo was over the top and bring a lot of new gameplay elements. Of course Nintendo is not violent and "In your face" like the other consoles but it can execute well some good games mechanics. Feel pretty fresh after the dozens of run and gun third person shooter I played on 360 and PS3.

I really love LBP and LBP PSP, still never want to play LBP2. For me LBP is a good stand alone IP from the current gen. I enjoyed it and its ok. The problem is the tendancy to Sony to force the creation of a PS mascot and sacboy is the only one around. Let him rest.
