Im gonna try this one since DR was awesome...and frustrating. I love and hate this franchise but the overall is always something good. I'm still unsure about the fact that most of the cheesy 80s-90s ambiance seem gone in this one. Reminiscing about slicing dumb zombies in a funny costume with a cheesy mall background music will hunt me forever. I love to make my grocery with my headphone and blasting DR soundtrack.
I was expecting another NSMBW and I think I'm wrong. Everybody should finally consider the WIIU as a secondary or main console. Now that we can finally compare whats Microsoft and Sony can deliever we can asume that Nintendo can still take an humble part of the market. Just keep the good titles releasing cause we all agree that 2012-2013 was slow start for the WiiU. They need to take advance compare to the humble line-up from the two other competitors. Seriously the best choice this year is to grab a PS4 for the price, but the line-up is so small, I try a few one and the titles are not that engaging. Xbox in other hand is more reliable if you expect descent exclusives (Killer Instinct, Forza, Dead Rising) but seriously, I dont want to be a part of the beta consumers for both system. I won a 2th generation Xbox360 and bought a Slim PS3 back in a day and I really enjoy the strenght of both systems since every troubleshoots was done with the previous generation. I expect the same patern for this generation too so I waiting till 2014 to see how everything is wraping up and I'm not the guy whos begging and waiting in line for new product. Meanwhile I will enjoy all my current generation consoles and my WIIU for next month. Good luck everyone and consider buying a WiiU, it worth it now.
I'm pretty sure he's right but tablet and smartphone have they limitation due to their interface. However tablet and smartphone should be able to run aside game console oc PC like in GTA V with Ifruit app. Developers should try to make add-on apps for their games and keep those apps available in the future. But nice call MS but I'm not gonna buy the X1 this year. Like anyone who like giving a chance to everyone I will buy PS4 first cause the price is better. I'll catch up later with X1 and I hope the WiiU will somehow find is own place in the market. Lets just hope the best for everyone, video game industry reach a changing point where its now consider as true media form, for good in a way that it give new perspective of creation and for bad by creating big blockbusters. Its more like movie industry now. A good Avengers is a great blockbuster but the diversity is what some people are looking for. Still I really enjoy GTA V with or without online features.
It show that the line between console, PC and tablet is getting tinner. Only future will tell which direction the market is going. Steam is getting bigger so if they create their own platform they will give another change to gamer to play their game. Lets just hope they will keep supplying other consoles.
@GodOfSyn I bougth hell of a PC last month but I don't expect to use it for gaming. For me gaming belong to console. But you have your opinion. Unless you suggest a crazy PC game I stick with my bunch of consoles. I like the time capsule feeling when you play a console who belong to a specific era of videogame. Most of you probably know what I mean. It's nice to revisit some game on a emulator but its way better when you play with the console the way it was intend to play. But for FPS gamer I think PC is the way to go cause a controller is always less easy to handle than a mouse. My exeption is the wii-mote controller. Man can we have more FPS or any way to shoot stuff with that ? This was the best application of the motion sensing. More stuff like House of dead and Metroid series. A COD like this could me amazing on next-gen. Well good luck Watchdog.
The WiiU sale chart is somewhere around 3.4 million yet and we can say that Sony got a way better media and advertisement stagegy than Nintendo if you compare them before their lauch last year. Unless the console have some major flaws I think they will sell easly 5M during that time period. If Sony deliver what people expect I think PS4 will get a small advance compare to X1 but both system will sell anyway. Microsoft will also hit 5M during that time period. Good luck to both of them and good luck to Nintendo to finally release some decent exclusive. I'm playing GTAV an other awesome games while my WiiU is waiting.
Its hard to speculate at this point. When both console will be available we will know. We can anticipate the hype around some exclusive titles on both console but the big question is the integration of the media center features. My guess is the simpliest interface will win. Core gamer want an easy game system and the media features is a new way to intagrate in a diiferent manner a lot of option from the current generation. I feel it like the new integration of Window8, its fun and more tablet oriented architecture but I find myself using way more the desktop view. I don't really need a media center since my PC is also hooked on my TV but a better intagrated system is always welcome. Lets just hope this time developper will try to intagrate more kinect and motion tech on their game instead of ingnoring that feature.
@PhilipO45 @euphoric666 @suplax @TomJimJack Well I bought the PS3 version dispite the fact that I also like the 360 controller but I don't have XBL account so PSN is the way to go for me and the dpad on the PS3 controller feel better for me and this game use it alot. The 2 disc on the 360 was also a backdraw. At the end it add another title on my less elaborate PS library compare to my 360 library. Enjoy GTAV.
