These are all good points. I hope Nintendo has thought of these things. With the Wii going completely dark the last few years, I hope they realize they can't just ride on a year of success. This has the potential to be an awesome console and a success... learn from past mistakes, Nintendo!
Everyone gets what Capcom wants... they don't give a ****, they just want money. Nothing wrong with that, except for the nonsensical people who continue to buy their products and then complain. We the consumers have the power to take Capcom down but we continue to support them.
I played the game and it was terrible. I don't think that this is an inherently bad idea, but they really... REALLY need to rethink a lot of things in the inevitable sequel.
I admire Capcom. They can churn out crap like this and millions of zombie consumers will go out and throw their money down for it. I hope I can achieve this kind of lazy success someday.
One problem is that the trailers show all the good stuff to make people wanna buy the game. Same problem with movie trailers. Another one is trailers that show beta stuff... just ideas, and all mashed together it looks like it's gonna be one huge epic game. But of course some stuff doesn't mesh, others change when the game is actually being put together, and then you have people going "why didnt they include this?!"
