@snaketus: Hey now, the GC was a great console. My main console was the GC back in the day, but yeah I imagine being a PS gamer and being barred from games like RE0, REmake, and 4 was pretty frustrating. It's kind of incredible to think that at one time, Nintendo was able to secure 3 exclusive Resident Evil games for their console. And now Capcom doesn't even bring RE to Nintendo systems anymore.
It's just as well, it's not like anyone is going to buy the inferior Switch port anyway. They would need to create an original exclusive RE game for Switch to get anyone interested.
The overworld and music are gorgeous. I'm very intrigued by the Temple of Time, which looks exactly like the one from OoT. And Hyrule Castle looks exactly like the one from Twilight Princess ... interesting.
Oh man that commercial! Both men and women of all shapes colors and sizes bring the switch everywhere! They're having so much fun! A feel good song is playing! Marketing execs are smiling. Jfc.
How in the ever lovin **** is this not going to launch with the Switch? We're now past the 5 year mark since SS ... like, this game looks nice but it doesn't look incredible or anything. What exactly is the hold up? A Zelda game at launch for the Switch could have really helped sales. But this is Nintendo and something like that would make a little too much sense
Code Veronica is def the hardest RE game. I'm assuming you guys will play that next and I'd recommend looking at a guide beforehand .... you can actually get to a point mid game where it's possible to screw yourself out of even being able to continue. It's completely Capcom's fault but it would be so dispiriting to go through that hell and then not even be able to finish the game
