@nomadie: yep. That is the difference between someone who knows tech and someone who just watches a video knowing nothing. I mean the M.2 drive in the ps5 I think just recently became available speed wise.

@kalade: yea I agree. But BC isn’t really PlayStation’s thing, right? There message was we are all about next gen. While all but a few PS4 games will work on the PS5, there won’t be huge improvements. Also the ssd on the ps5 is brand new tech. Literally created for the ps5. So it will take a little while to get it running. I mean gears 5 optimized on the XSX from boot to start is like 39 seconds. Miles Morales is 7. So we can see what the XSX can with extra power it got. But we have to wait until games that are made for both to truly see the difference.

This really doesn’t meant much. I will wait until these games are optimized for next gen. Then we can see how they will load. All this shows me is what I already know, the XSX has more power. If you want to get an idea maybe look at AC Valhalla. As it’s one of the first games to also take advantage of next gen.

@CyberEarth: yea liked the more realistic approach too. With Halloween Kills being the second film in this trilogy that continues for the first film, I hope we get an ending. Like a definite ending. Meyers is like decapitation or something to where he is dead. Like there is no coming back. Also don’t want to see the daughter or grand daughter or Laurie Strobe or Doyle or any Halloween character become the the next killer or possessed by Meyers. For once in a horror series like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street or others I want a true and definite ending.

@tsunami2311: actually there was a Friday the 13th reboot. It was the rebooted in 2009. Jared Padalecki was the lead in it. The reboot was suppose to be an origin story but instead reboots the first 4 films in one. Making Jason a more leaner and quicker killer. He had the backstory of seeing his mom beheaded and that sent him down the path of becoming a killer. Friday the 13th was suppose to be rebooted again or something like that but the writer and producer are fighting in court over who owns the character. So that film wasn’t made and that caused the game that was made to cancel its dlc plans and future content. Blum has said that Friday the 13th was something he wanted to make too. I’m guessing he would take the Halloween route. It would be interesting if Blum does get to do the Friday the 13th movie, as Carpenter hates the film. Carpenter has said that Friday the 13th was made as a cash grab off his film. That the film has no substance.

I see a lot of people balking at the price of the nvme 1tb that would work with the ps5. But many of you must have forgotten the current gen started the same way. External usb drives were expensive at launch. Sony at least had the option to let you upgrade the hdd in the console itself. But MS forced you to use a UBS hdd. But now you can get external usb drives cheap. Same for hdd to replace in the PS4. The difference this time is that the ps5 won’t allow for a ssd replacement like you could do with the PS3 and PS4. Your only way of increasing storage is through the nvme slot.

@Atzenkiller: while MS cut corners to save money and make the X360 cheaper by not having an hdmi port or hd dvd drive, they made up for with the Kinect and hdd space. I think the hdd that came with some 360s was like 4gb, which even back then meant you couldn’t do much. Even the 20gb was too small.

@Atzenkiller: the price is no different then the XSX proprietary expanded storage. But I think people forget that external usb drives at the start of the PS4/X1 gen were expensive too. Now you get 4tb drives for under $100. Same thing with Switch if you wanted a 400gb or 512gb storage sd. You would hundreds for those. Now I’ve seen them on sale for less then $60.

@kirkhilles: Sony said you could put your PS4 games on an external usb drive. They even recommended using an external drive so you don’t waste the space on the ps5. But you be able to play ps5 games off the external usb drive. Even Xbox has this. I saw a video that showed transfer speeds between different types of drives(external usb, ext ssd) and different gen consoles(X1, X1X, & XSX).

I feel like Holland and Wahlberg don’t fit the Drake and Sully duo. Holland is suppose to play a young Drake but the way they have him looking in the picture makes it seem like they are going for an older Drake. I was thinking the movie would be kind of when Drake meet Sully deal. Drake was young. But they could have still used that. Instead it seems like they are trying to make a young Drake but have him look also look like an experienced treasure hunter too. I was expected a TR type. Drake fumbles but Sully helps him. I mean if they go for the older looking Drake then Sully isn’t needed. As in the games he is rarely there. I don’t see Marky Mark playing a small role in a huge action flick. Holland was picked because he is young and can do the action in the big set pieces. Wahlberg is their for his name.
