Isn't this teaser tied to the reveal-launch of the new Xbox? So it's supposed to represent next-gen standards.
Add to that the fact that Infinity aren't exactly known for innovation when it comes to visual improvements, quite the opposite... any tweaking they do on top of this is going to still be WAY behind what is noew considered standard for the leading AAA titles/developers.

The sad thing is this is supposed to be on their new engine too. Goes to show everyone just how much hype is behind CoD, and how little actual skill/talent.

Awesome, do it according to the 'severity' of violent content too... start applying that to the entire media food chain.
Top of that food chain, political press meetings that endorse/encourage/provoke conflicts in the world... move on down the line to sensationalist news (which is practically all news outlets these days)... and eventually you'll trickle down to games
@jhpiv4 I'm sure there are many layers of 'wrong' in how the MoH reboot was and continues to be handled. Regardless of how much of the sloppy/copycat nature of DICE's portion is on DICE's shoulders... it's a smear on their track record.
And let's face it, Star Wars tends to be single play centric in the world of games, and DICE aren't known for being good at that either. The fact that they've bought into the CoD style rail campaign is disappointing in itself.
I'd like to say DICE succeed here, but the LucasArts legacy is going to be a hard thing to live up to (the REAL LucasArts games mind you, not the half arsed third-party titles).
for a "core gaming audience" yet they'll be "the most popular gaming genres"
What that really means is "there's a core demographic of franchise fans GUARANTEED to pay for these".... and "... this is our chance to maybe be a threat to Kotickvision by caternig to the most popular game presentation/marketing... most popular? Most sales!"
while it's hard to justify why a chick in a game advertisement needs to be taking her panties off... anyone else notice how the censored version just makes it looks far more suggestive?
With that little concealing curtain, any desperate fool that is going to get excited at this is now going to have the option of thinking she might, JUST MIGHT, be spreading her cheeks.
