I loved the first game great platformer....I disliked the 2nd and loathed the 3rd they were GTA clones.

That's looking pretty badass. Especially 2.36 when he does that twist. GTA IV and RDR were boring L.A Noire was alright but Rockstar have really underperformed this gen in my opinion.

Wait a sec, you think GTA and RDR were boring, but LA noire wasn't? La noir was one of the most boring games I've played this gen. I got no problem if you didn't care for gta or red dead. But to say they are boring in comparison to la noir is one of the most insane things iv'e ever heard on system wars.......and thats saying something cause there's some crazy people on here.

LA Noir should be praised for its face animation techniques and nothing else. it was so boring i don't even know where to start...........hmm, ok..

It was like a TV show, funnily enough, if it actually was a tv show, i would have watched it to the end (you could have skipped all the stupid chases and try again shootouts).

the fact i had to bumble around pressing A then choose dialogue options where the phrase on the screen looked ok, only to have cole phelps bellow at the innocent victim, then pick up a box of matches and stare at it "hmm, nothing here" NO KIDDING COLE!

i am sorry its not even a game, its like an interactive TV show, but spoiled by the video game equivalent of the boom mic being in shot, the sets wobbling etc etc.

RDR boring? hahaha, maybe some of the dialogue was a little boring, but the gameplay was never boring, the online was great too and i feel ashamed i never gave it as much time as it deserved..

blanket statements are not the same thing as stereotypes. The term conservative in and of itself has never carried a negative connotation, liberal or leftist has.

No they're not, and not they're not. Being called a leftist used to be an insult, and liberal is still used in a sense by the right as if simply being liberal makes you anti-American. There has never been any such a correlation with conservatism.

Putting games like Steel Battalion, Ghost Recon, Ryse, Mass Effect, Madden NFL, FIFA, and more it does not help your case. Those games are not fully kinect and if they are full kinect they directed more at the core audience.

Uncharted? It's a poor man's Gears in terms of gunplay and a poorer man's Indiana Jones in terms of everything else.

Gran Turismo? It's essentially a joke now. I don't care about racing sims, but when the developer you're competing against put multiple games that are better than yours in the time it takes you to release one title that can't even keep up, you've got issues.

Killzone? It had one legitimately great game, and that was Killzone 2, which took six years to make. Better luck next gen, Guerrilla Games.

Resistance? It sucks. Insomniac has no idea how to make a great FPS and the sales prove it. I'd call it a poor man's Halo but that's insulting to Halo.

3D Dot Game Heroes? It's a poor man's Zelda.

Now, sure they have some great games like God of War and Valkyria Chronicles and Demon's Souls, but there aren't that many of them and most of them were made by third party studios.

Mostly, they're just second-rate games trying to compete with the big boys. They aren't terrible, but they sure as sh! aren't great.

All we do on this forum is argue about how much great games suck, except sometimes people are able to provide a more compelling arguement than "it's a poor man's___"
