Will Max Payne 3 be the first non boring R* game this gen?.

That's looking pretty badass. Especially 2.36 when he does that twist. GTA IV and RDR were boring L.A Noire was alright but Rockstar have really underperformed this gen in my opinion.

Pretty much. I have barely touched mine and I can't find the will to finish it, despite easily finishing GTA4

That said, game is shaping up to be great. Hopefully, it comes with a good story and sense of story telling like the other two had.

I was never a big fan of GTA games, however I really enjoyed RDR. Max Pain is looking pretty good though, from what I have seen. However, the only R* game I've enjoyed this gen so far has been RDR.

Red Dead Redemption wasn't boring. Grand Theft Auto IV wasn't boring. L.A. Noire wasn't boring. I'm pretty sure Grand Theft Auto V won't be boring.

I did that with GTA4. The cast and story for that I found boring. RDR is still one of my favortie game stories this gen. I also really like the main character and some of hte cast.

RDR was pretty boring at times. GTA IV was somewhat fun, haven't played the DLC put people say they're good.

Imo what we've seen from MP3 looks pretty boring, the controller aiming is atrocious.

Matter of opinions don't try to make facts of them.

RDR is one of the better videogames released this gen. So is GTAIV. Neither boring to me. I love methodical adventure games that don't force you to "go here or go there" or hold your hand and executed properly with quality. I get immersed in high quality sandbox games like the two i just mentioned. As for Max Payne 3? It will be good no doubt.

Doubt it. Rockstar doesn't know jack about creating good gameplay.

Completely disagree with TC about GTA IV, the expansions, and RDR... but yes I'm excited for Max Payne 3.

RDR is my favorite game of all-time, but I can see why this generation thinks it's boring.

GTA IV was fun for me, but then again I'm a open-world fiend.

If you thought the last three Rockstar games were boring, you need to start taking your Ritalin in higher doses. Ok maybe La Noire once you finish Homicide and get into Vice, its a bit of an anti-climax, but still far from boring.

But yea, Max Payne 3 looks to be fantastic. The combat appears to have real weight to it.

GTA4 was terrible at times, had bad controls, but for the most of time, I was frustrated (if anything), not bored. As for RDR, I loved it.IAmNot_fun
