It's about 1 year and $100 (actually higher value proposition counting the features missing from the pro) dollars more powerful than a ps4 pro whats wrong with that? Though truth be told i was hoping for a year delay and new gen system but for a premium iteration of an xbox one; its true real competitor, it smokes it. Original xb1 owners making the switch are going to witness a bigger jump (devs willing) than ps4 to pro adopters.

I like the crew and the visuals. In fact, am enjoying the game quite a bit; more so than current reviews would have lead me to believe if i were to rely on them. Am still fairly early on however but so far things are looking well.

It has a similar to higher value proposition to launch price ps4 pro. And presently a higher performance per dollar. These are figures from my ass but i guesstimate at $400 for a pro the xbox 1 x would be like $560 for same-ish performance per dollar. With that said it is only this way because it is a year newer but also has features missing from pro. The pro would have similar hardware if it had a similar launch window while possibly having less ram and still no 4kbr drive (based on the assumption that sony would be more inclined to cut costs), so that is added value as well. Last year $400 was a good price for what the pro offered and this year $500 is also a good or better price for what is offered with the xbx. If ps4 pro exists for $400 there in no reason this can't for $500 purely from a mechanical and technical level even if i personally think both are over-priced for my needs.

Skipped pro because of lack of 4k player, will still buy this at $499 to feed my new 65" 930e some content besides 4k streaming. Was a missed opportunity by MS to not eat the cost (at least for the holiday via a launch window $100 rebate or discount) for both mind and market share. It's a shame the average walmart shopper won't recognize the value of the package that seemingly intimidating $499 tag truly offers.

Wonder how soon after official reveal tomorrow scorpio will be available for pre-order. Don't wanna miss out on 1st shipment. Hopefully its not a conservative allotment per shipment wave where the second wave of systems is still just fulfilling the remainder of pre-orders that missed out on the launch shipment. Still fully confident its gonna be $399 and gonna sell out for the entire quarter.

Even if it were a pc (which it most certainly is not but would be neat despite being a stupid idea) for $400 (here's hoping) it is one hell of a package and possibly the strongest (graphically) "steam box" in all price brackets in the small form factor segment.

Hopefully, MS releases new Surface Studio SKUs with new GPUs e.g. GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti.

That is what has kept me from getting the Surface Studio, waiting for a spec bump and newer gpu's to drive that awesome display.

For me personally the lack of "re-playability" hurts Breath of the Wild's chances somewhat but it should still pull it off despite my doubts. It's one hell of a first ride though. Nioh and P5 were just as gripping and along with zelda were each played exclusively for a solid month and believe they have an equal chance for GOTY.

I miss our former resident over-zealous MS shill with their alt brigade, gave MS astroturfing a splash of color and at the very least different names to dole out the butt licking.
