@Thanatos2k: I've not purchased the game, but I've certainly played it. I got about 8 hours into the game until the framerates fell so low that it simply wasn't playable anymore (in my eyes). The PS4 pro is a chance to fix that, and if they're passing that up, that's terribly support. All they need to do is unlock the framerate (although PC performance suggests CPU utilization issues).
They did offer a few free updates, and that's appreciated, but the performance issues are still there. All the free content in the world means nothing to me if the game runs like trash.
It's not complaining, it's not rambling, it's a discussion. Either fix your own internalized definitions or leave the conversation if you cannot handle a differentiated opinion.
@Thanatos2k: Try reading. I didn't buy the game as the performance is terrible. I could buy it on PC, as mentioned above. If you'd bother to read you'd realize your post is pointless and fueled by ignorance (of my original post).
There is certainly a point, supporting the fans who already gave them multiple millions of dollars.
Much smaller devs offer support for their games much longer after release. Yachtclub games is a fine example.
@gamefreak215jd: You're going to try to blame Sony for their development? Doom and MGSV both ran at a solid 60 fps and looked amazing doing it. It's obviously not a hardware issue, it's a development issue.
Even if the consoles were 3x as powerful, they would still target 30 fps and push it until it's unstable again. It's a development choice, not an impossibility.
@scoobybri: For me, I'd rather have 1080p at 60 fps over 4k at 30 fps. I would love to have this option with some SMAA thrown in and better textures. If they offer this, I'm in.
Otherwise, it's 2016. I'm not tolerating 60 fps. I'll play on my PC instead.
I prefer my couch and the ability to sale my games, but I prefer my 60 fps more.
