@darkouer: I'm with you Darkouer. This is why I only buy digital games on a deep, deep discount. If they pull the game, or even worse, if the companies goes under...
Your "purchases" are gone forever. It's much better to view them as long term rentals. I do fear the future of gaming when all these companies eventually go under or change focus. Many games can't be played without their day one patches, or suffer tremendously for it. Many can't be played without online connections/servers to back them.
I hope one day there is a system that let's us preserve all these past games...
@linthes999: If you're liking Nioh, you'll probably like Dark Souls 3. It's much faster and less tedious than the previous entries, especially if you choose a fast weapon.
DS1 was very very slow, DS2 was a bit faster. Bloodborne and DS3 are quite fast.
@linthes999: I finally got to play it yesterday evening for a bit, and it does look much better. I set the game to prioritize frame rate and it looks pretty alright. I do wish the resolution was higher, as very dense areas it's hard to tell what's going on at times, but I'm happy with it.
@Fartman7998: I doubt they'll change the formula at this point. I would like the DLC better if it would just patch in new areas of the world, without teleportation or any of that stuff. It makes it feel so disconected. Just a hallway that magically appears somewhere in the world. Perhaps have a wall collapse to reveal a tunnel or something. It would be even better if it opened up new quest lines that offered a new ending.
@Fartman7998: Usually with these games (I've played through them all), I've found them to be best played just before finishing the game. They always amp up the difficulty significantly, sometimes in a good way sometimes in a bad way (Bloodborne DLC for me was pretty cheap and not enjoyable).
Man, I really wish this had a PC version in the works. I might still give it a go no the PS4, but I found the visuals the be very muddy in the alpha. Maybe they fixed it.
