@videogameninja: I'm excited for the campaign still and zombies, but the multiplayer isn't doing anything for me at this point. I still prefer battlefield in that regard. The shooting in COD is as solid as always and it controls well
@carving_a_giant: I am excited to see the games running on the system as well. Really I would love to see faster load times and even if they could get the frame rates locked down that would be great, whether it's 30 or 60
@sellingthings: I don't mind the mid gen upgrades. Any way to keep playing these games and not have to have a hard restart in a new console generation is fine by me. I'm also somewhat used to upgrading since playing on a PC.
I personally think this has been a great generation of games. I've played s lot of good stuff over the past couple years
@pcps4xb: why do you think that? PCs don't do that that I'm aware of. I mean wouldn't people with 4000 dollar rigs only then play with that same demographic? I'm sure I'm getting my butt handed to me in PUBG by someone running a much more expensive outfit then I'm running, right ;-)
@pcps4xb: that's true they may be a niche market, but one would think if it were possible, they would give the gamer a choice. I don't know a whole lot about how all of that works but it would be cool if the option was there. I mean I know people who will turn down graphical fidelity to get higher frame rates so I wonder why those choices aren't available on console
@dominoodle: I found out about the in store pre orders and drove as fast as I could and fortunately was able to reserve one too. I tried getting one for my brother but it was one per customer which was a bummer on one hand but nice that everyone could get a shot since they limited what they sold to people
@videogameninja: I'm buying it because I really want to own the SNES and it's games. I missed a lot of these because I was a Sega kid and sure you could get them on virtual console, but to have this and play all these great games would be awesome
Looking forward to the announcement. I haven't made the jump yet to xbox this gen, so I am pretty excited to see what is in store. I know some people are disappointed with the lack of games, but forza looks sweet and getting a 4k player is icing on the cake. I would love to hear something about developers using this extra power in different ways other than just 4k resolution. Maybe a frame bump or something for all the games. Rise of the Tomb Raider had the 3 different choices for their PS4 pro update which I thought was an awesome way to promote Sony's new system so that is what I am hoping for here with Microsoft.
