@jerjef: I didn't say it was a waste of money, if you're keen to pay out more cash for a more powerful variation of the same console or picking up an Xbox One for the first time then I'm sure you could justify it, just said I'd personally wait till the next line of consoles are out.

Was behind some good shit, really enjoyed Arx Fatalis. Yet to play the new Prey but heard some good things.

@jerjef: I already have an expensive PC, no games across either consoles have made me consider picking one up this generation.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Sony release PS 5 within the next 2 years. If I were to get a console I'd rather wait, it's not like Xbox One X is going to have any exclusives, just the same games at higher graphical fidelity.

IO getting dropped by SE may have been a blessing in disguise, from what I heard they were against the episodic releases but were forced to do that by SE. Sad really as this Hitman looked like they wanted to return to their roots but were forced to add dumb shit in such as the always online DRM that drops you from Single Player games should your connection time out. Hopefully SE sells off the Thief franchise to a more competent development team.
