I find it hilarious that with all of the talk around here about "teh exclusive!1!" that cows don't even buy the games they hype. At least when Gears of War 3 comes out you can expect at least 5 million in sales...in its first month.

Im sure GeoW will sell well, 360 gamers must be pretty dry after almost a whole year without an exclusive game. PS3 gamers on the other hand are bombarded with one great exclusive after another, no wonder their wallets are empty... Infamous sales numbers are great anyway though.

I remember this same thread occured when the PS3 was about to be released, mainly because of "teh blueRayz1!". Everyone knows how that turned out.

It ended up being the best console on the market. Just like everyone said it would be. "bu bu bu bad launch!! No excluisve AAA's!!!" PS3 fans said, your jumping the gun haters, this is Sony, they have TONS of franchises and in house dev's, a ton of games will come 100% guaranteed. And then bam, they came.
He's just saying, don't doubt Microsoft or Nintendo, because you will lose again.
Plus if PS3 is truly the best home console on the market, then why isn't in 1st place yet?
That was excactly my point. Nintendo was laughed at and Microsoft to some degree. And now the PS3 is dead last. Clearly not the best console.
I have no loyalty. I play the one that delivers the best experience and if that changes each generation I have no problem with that. Blind devotion due some overblown nostalgia is absurd.
Depends which console. On the 360, you can bet on that there will be voice chat, game invites, etc just like every other game on the system. Microsoft wouldn't even allow a game to be released without it. PS3 will be the nub version for sure.
