Too many good games on 360 have been delayed because of "ps3" architecture and this simultaneous release BS is getting really annoying. If developers want to make "ps3" versions I can live with that but if that means I have to wait longer for really good tiles that's really lame. What I want them to do is at the very least is build the 360 version and then later they can make a "ps3" version. If Sony had just made a normal architecture we would have this problem but no Sony had to be difficult and now it's hurting the industry. So sign here if you don't want to deal with several extra delays on your games.
[QUOTE="console-deity"]My baby is two years+ old and still no major @#$% ups, I read all over the internet wakos saying theirs RRoDed or it's glitching a lot in this game. I'm not getting any of this BS, I'm seriously starting to wonder if it isn't console abusers. I have always taken extreme care with my games and gaming equipment and I don't get this @#$%, PC on the other hand is totally different, but that's beside the point. I mean I've got a lunch model, 2 years+ old, and I've spent thousands of hours on it, if 360's were supposed to have so much trouble why haven't I? From talking to some of the guys at work I found the one other true gamer at work is just like me in that he takes really extreme care of his equipment and like me still no BS. One of the other guys was saying he heard a sat online that listed the % chance your 360 would RRoD, now I only remember the first sat he mentioned but they only when higher anyway, he said upon opening the box your machine had 16% chance of RRoD out of the box. This doesn't make sense to me, I can't have beaten the odds for this long, it must be most users aren't very good to their 360's.chefstubbies
I had mine for 9 months with no problems at all until getting the red rings. I had always kept my 360 extremely well ventilated and never played for more than an hour or two at a time.
So how exactly did I abuse my console? And why are you so angry? I'm having a hard time even taking your post seriously though with phrases like "true gamer just like me"and your clear inability to comprehend that sometimes electronic equipment sometimes fails. I've been with out my PC for almost two weeks after the whole thing crashed. I suppose you're going to try and tell me that it crashed because of something I did?
You should expect windows to crash, it's the worst OS of all time, but the 360 is an entirely different division of MS, not too mention its OS is heavily based on Linux code.
As for failures in general, yeah a certain percentage will always fail, but if you get 8 failures :?. Something your doing must be wrong, I don't know what but something really awful to those poor machines. I never expect a system other then windows (because it's designed to fail) to fail this off-ten. I'm sure their are a certain number of BS3 Fan-boys artificially enlarging the numbers.
