I really want to support this game with my money. This dev sounds like a true believer, I love playing something where I can see the passion and love put into making it. To heck with fast food shooters and multibillion dollar activision-EA empires. This is where the love is.

I personally approve of the ESRB's cultivation of stigma regarding AO titles. Most AO titles are porn games or gore fetishes (san andreas aside). I think we go pretty far with our M ratings (WAYYYY farther then when I was a kid) so I have no qualms about the way things are. ESPECIALLY since video games are inherently attractive to children and I don't trust the modern day parent to protect their kids from adult (and I mean, ADULT) content.

@williamzamora The writer specifically states that stopping piracy is a good idea, right here in fact: " When an IP holder, like Electronic Arts, has reason to believe that a site is distributing pirated copies of its software, it has a process that it can expedite to eliminate the threat to its business. Sounds fair enough, right?" What he goes on to explain that the power isn't limited to this, but instead goes far beyond the boundaries of normal enforcement into what can be considered extreme censorship. In essence, lot's of user generated content that even vaguely contains (or supports) material from large corporations can be essentially destroyed at the whim of big names such as EA and Microsoft. It's completely unamerican.

" Is it bad for the industry when all the big players are using their fancy new weapons technology to throw as little spaghetti at the wall as possible? When the biggest innovation they push for is a new business model for post-release map packs?" THIS!!!! Activision made 270 MILLION off of DLC ALONE for black ops! Death to DLC whoring!

@Mysterieux936 Capitalism and greed aren't the same thing, but I get what you're driving at.
