@inebriantia: this goes back to the "so I bought something but I don't really own it?" debate. If you buy a game and have the knowhow and tools to mod it, then there's really no stopping you whether the maker wants you to or not. As long as no one makes a profit from it, and it doesn't hamper anyone else's experience with the game (no online mods allowed obviously) then both T2 and R* can go **** themselves. There's really nothing they can do to stop SP mods whether they want to or not.
"we know you've been asking for single player DLC since the beginning, and we have no interest in giving it to you. Oh you wanna mod the single player to give it some new life? Nope not happening either. Screw you."
If Nintendo used x86 it would see more games like this being released on its console. They would have to near build the game a second time from the ground up, and downgraded at that, if they wanted to release it for the switch. It's probably just not an economically smart decision.
