I dunno why the original version gets so much hype anyone. It was a very boring and very drawn out game. It almost felt like playing a ps1 game even when it came out. I might have to pass this up completely unless they make it mine blowing somehow.
I'd have to buy a 4k TV just to take advantage of the console. And if I'm getting a 4k TV I don't want it anything g under 55 or 60 inch. That's a good amount of money to spend just to get to play a few games at 4k. Really I'm just as happy with what I've got for the time being.
Now if they start making gamesthat for whatever reason are only playable at 4k, they really be shooting themselves in the foot.
@penkowalski: Yeah they pounced their chest because it took advantage of the hardware already available in people's houses. 4k hasn't fully caught on yet, so many people are going to pass on paying that much money when they don't even have a TV that will fully showcase the games properly.
@lostn: still not enough people own a 4k TV to make spending such a high price for this system worth it. 4k has been around for a little while now but still hardly has any media to fully support it, and that's what a going to keep this system from blowing up the way they think it will.
@cooljax: this is the reason the ps3 didn't take off right away. The more popular console at the time (360) was much cheaper and really really hindered ps3 sales at first till the price dropped. I'd imagine the same thing will happen here.
