Bestbuy and Futureshop are having a "buy 2 get 1 free" sale! Time to grab Uncharted 2, Batman AA, and maybe Dragon Age. :D

Trying to beat Infamous on Evil Hard last night. I'm completely stuck on the final boss. :( I suck at dual analog. There is just no way for me to dodge/move around quickly enough and still aim precisely with the other analog stick. It's so frustrating.

Forget the Motion Wand or Natal, just give me an IR control and I'll be happy.

really i don't understand on how people like 07 it only gave 2 good games mario and resident evil :uc besides that it was utter crapelbert_b_23

You forgot Metroid Prime 3, but I kinda agree with you. 2007 is surprisingly thin when you look back at it now.

But, the perception is different because the Wii just came out. Everyone is still in love with Wii Sports. Many are still playing Twilight Princess in the early part of 2007. We got MP3 for the summer and Galaxy for the holiday. The spacing is perfect.

Bell Sympatico... it says right on there. :P Who's your provider? I'm thinking of switching back to Rogers in order to bundle it with my cable TV. It's just that I had a terrible experience with Rogers internet before. Like, it didn't work. And it was a nightmare to switch off them... they kept charging even after the switch to Bell.

Haziqonfire

I've got bell too - and I had rogers before. Honestly I notice no difference really.

But yea like I said, they both lieabout how much speed they're going to give you. I've never ever had 10MB/S. And Rogers and Bell both do shady things because theres like no competition here in Canada compared to the states.

Choosing between Bell and Rogers is like choosing between a Rock and a Hard Place. :P I already tried both and hated them.

I would suggest TekSavvy. I'm very happy with them (despite Bell trying to screw with them through trottling) and they are cheaper too.

Now, if I can only find a better & cheaper place for Cable TV and cellphones.....

I've always thought that 2008 was the worst. But looking at the list, I'm surprise to say that it's actually the best. It had a lot of my top favourite games...Rock Band 2! Super Smash Bros Brawl!! Bully!! Boom Blox!!! Mario Kart Wii!!! Okami!!!! I guess the horrible 2008 holiday lineup put a sour taste in my mouth.

Metroid Prime 3 + Super Mario Galaxy + Zack & Wiki >> Punch Out!! + NSMB Wii + Wii Sports Resort.

So, I have

1. 2008

2. 2007

3. 2009

Nice rant lol SMW was the same and how the hell did you do in SMB1 & 3 where you couldn't ever save and had to contunue from the beggining of the world? Man, you must of had a tough and frustrating mario upbringing.knuckl3head

Hehehe...I didn't know SMW was the same. I played it as well as Yoshi's Island on the GBA. I really enjoyed completing each level 100%, but I don't remember having the same issue with the save system.

SMB3 was alright. I thought it was way overrated, but I was never frustrated. I like SMB2 a lot more though.

Thanks gang

It's not that I die, it's just I don't always have time to play all the way to a castle and don't want to have to keep the Wii running.

squashyo

Oh, Quick Save is all you need then. Just hit Quick Save just before you quit the game. When you come back, you should be exactly where you left off.

If you don't run out of lives, you will be fine. :)

You can only truly save the game after beating one of those castle levels. So, if u ran out of lives before then, you will lose all your progress you've made since your last true save.

Yeah, I was forced to use it once on a mid castle when I was down to 1 life. I didn't want to die and lose a nights worth of progress.

Super Guide works as expected. Luigi starts from the very beginning (so you will lose any progress you did for that level) and goes through the level extremely slowly. :) But, I'm glad that it's there because I know I'll need it sometimes.

The single-player mode is definitely a lot harder than the multi-player mode. It is more frustrating and not as fun...for me anyways. After playing it a couple of times alone, I've decided to play this game strictly in multi-player from now on.

-----

**side rant - I freaking HATE the game's save system. We should be able to save the game immediately after completing a level. Limiting it to the castle levels is just stupid. The constant worry about losing all my progress is sucking out all the fun that I had with the game. I'm not even trying to get the star coins anymore because I know I will have to first get the star coin, finish the level, and then finish a castle level for it to truly register. So frustrating. /end rant**

[QUOTE="mariokart64fan"] its one of the best wii games and i just got it today its pathetic ho you can say somthin about that- it be great if it were ten but for 25 its well worth it danger_ranger95

No... it's pathetic that developers don't listen to the fans of the system, or series. Let's say 100% of people, were interested in this game at first. They lost 50% right when they announced that it was a rail shooter, and 25% of that remaining group, probably are waiting for a price drop.

They alienated their own game, and it's pathetic. If they would've listened, and went back to the drawing board (which EA has the money to allow them to do so).... they game could've been better than what we were given. I'm not saying it's a terrible game, but to throw a rail shooter out, and say it's the next best thing since sliced bread is another thing.

The authority that approved the project should be fired.

Can we just be happy for once? We should be thankful (in Thanksgiving) that we are getting a quality third party game.

I can guarantee you 100% that if Extraction was a TPS, people will still complain and not support the game. "Why should we play this game when the HD version is soo much better? Blah, Blah, Blah". Wii hardcore gamers are never satisfied.

We should be thankful for all quality third party games...Deadspace Extraction and MW Reflex included.

I think SMB3 is way more overrated. :)

NSMB Wii is pretty good. If you're talking about single player, then maybe. But, the best part about NSMB Wii is its multplayer. After playing it with other people, I can nolongerplay NSMB Wii alone anymore.
