Its all down to personal preference with the Vita and 3DS... both offer such unique experiences that it is a bit dim to compare the both, yeah the Vita has better graphics/performance but on the other hand the 3DS has 3D and you can play all your old faves from past Nintendo consoles, i like the 3DS but i am watching the Vita with eager eyes, i will get one!
some fighting games have a very steep learning curve and in this day and age you need to beat the game to get all achievements/trophies which is very tricky when played on super hyper mega insane brutal difficulty!
@bignick217 Thank you for your help, i am going to get a desktop gaming PC, my laptop is no good for gaming as it is not what i want, starting from scratch and building my own desktop will cost me about 800gbp... money well spent in my eyes especially if i get enough ram and a good graphics card it will be future proof for a little while
@bignick217 At the moment i have a Dell vostro i3 dual core with Nvidia 480 with low memory i think its only 2 gig, pretty much just for multi media, the idea was to buy a gaming spec PC then the wife can use the Dell...
@TevoxZi AND that is a good spec... anything with i5/i7 straight away here would set you back over 1000gbp! and their mainly multi media PC`s and not gaming!
@Wormkid_64 It is true... EVERY game is comparable to CoD and it drives me insane! I think the reason why sooo many people play MineCraft for example is because it is like nothing else out there... and the 3DS offers the same, it is a unique platform and offers some serious competition to all other hand held devices like PSV or iPhone (all of which i think pay gaming social web sites to slag off Nintendo)
@calanorn YEAH a grand for a gaming PC, i cant find anywhere cheaper to buy one, i have spent much time on "PC specialist" web sites and for a good performing PC with an AMD quad core and 560 ti graphics card and 4/8 gig of ram... none of this is top spec either, top spec PC would cost 3000gbp at least!!! If you have any suggestions please help out!
PC is the way forward, i have learned this during the current gen consoles, i own an Xbox and i am sick of Microsoft ripping me off with over priced games and DLC`s, i have noticed that games that are on both platforms the PC versions are ALOT cheaper! PC multiplaying games have dedicated servers where as Xbox uses the peer to peer system i believe. One of the biggest downfalls to this current gen of consoles is that Xbox and PS3 have near a 10 year life span with no hardware updates in between which means us console gamers are missing out with high end graphics and suffering with screen tears and so on and so on! The average price for a semi decent PC is about 800/1000gbp which is good if you think of the cost of updating hardware every 6 months or so which can cost about 70/80gbp! Consoles will never be able to keep up with PC! THE END!
@androflash Nintendo will NOT be releasing a new 3DS just yet, it was stated from a leaked source from this Japanese magazine where the news of the second c stick came from, the reason why i feel this to be true is because Nintendo know for a fact that current loyal 3DS owners will hit the roof, so they dont want to create more of a mess... maybe Nintendo have the blue prints for the 2nd 3DS or they might even have one in the making now, but it wont be released for a while!
