T3 has already been announced for June 2011... Interesting because there are still many major characters to introduce. Omega, Unicron, Shockwave, UltraMagnus, and the ever hated Rodimus Prime and/or Rodimus Prime.

Not to mention Megatron's transformation into Galvatron. He discreetly became a tank in T2 which seemed to be overshadowed with everyone's review of the movie. If you really think of the Transformer series though the cartoons themselves took place in the desert and had some mindless plots. So Bay is so far doing an outstanding job of his movie adaptations IMO.

Where's Wheeljack, Mirage, Blaster, Hound,Prowl and Sunstreaker? They put out a Smokescreen toy but I imagine he's in the out-takes. I don't see how the twins made T2 over other notable characters in the series.

Ravage was cool but where is Laserbeak, Rumble, and did anyone else think in the museum the sight of the space shuttle think of Astrotrain?

Everyone that says that Transformers sucked; I'd like to know your idea of a good movie? Like what was it you were wanting? The movie had all that people wanted and if you are on here saying that it sucked then you even paid your 8-10 bucks to help it earn your 'sucked' rating.

Cloverfield was HORRIBLE

I am Legend was HORRIBLE (rather watch 28 Days)

Wolverine was absolutely HORRIBLE; how did Deadpool shoot rays out his eyes, die, and later in life he supposed to become an X Man?

[QUOTE="butterlou"] Bay took the Transformers universe from it's origins all the way to the Energon.Silent-Hal
The movie series is more based on the original Generation 1 cartoon, Armada, Energon and Cyberton weren't part of the same continuity. I doubt they'd have used any elements from those series for the movies either, as they aren't particularly popular amongst fans.

You may doubt it, but when Prime and Jetfire came together that is totally from the Energon era. On top of that, Megatron in Armada is a tank which he was in this movie and no one even really mentioned that he changed from the jet in the first one to becoming a tank. Two, Soundwave changed from being a boombox in the first one to being the IT guy in Armada and Energon hince his form. Last, Prime has ALWAYS been a flat faced truck and this was discussed from the 2007 movie but in Armada once again he was how he is now.

Michael bay actually did a phenomenal job on Transformers 2. The problem lies within itself however. The first movie had the spectacle of seeing Optimus Prime on the big screen. When it opened people in my theater gave him (Optimus) a standing ovation! In the middle of the movie?! So with that being over with the second film had to raise the stakes. Bay took the Transformers universe from it's origins all the way to the Energon era; which left many people in the dark. Those that didn't know about the powerlinx and the space bridge and minicons were left out. Jetfire and Starscream have history from before Starscream was a Decepticon. The Fallen was the out casted brother of Primes that worked for Unicron. So now the stage is set for part three. So if Unicron's apprentice The Fallen was defeated then Megatron is going to go back tell Unicron be reformed to Galvatron and there you have the set up for part 3; IF Bay follows the story.

I agree there were some silly parts but the movie is great. Mudflap and Skids were dummies in the cartoon as well but not as bad as they were portrayed. Ravage was awesome and to have Soundwave on screen too. Please, people, this movie was the ish!

Def Jam Icon got good scores too. So did Motorstorm. If you read the reviews the critics even say how frustrating it is to use the TPC. The reason people like the game is because there isn't anything to rival it. Fight Night has a monopoly because of its contents. If you want to come at me though for my comments then challenge me to a game; Online ID is Booter and I will whup your arse even with not totally understanding the controls. It's all to a preference for that inparticular gamer. You that rave for the TPC have at it, but those of us that like to have the face buttons should be allowed that choice. I'm sure that some of you are Madden players and some of you turn the QB vision on or off; it's your choice. Has nothing to do with coordination and it's definitely nowhere near a SIM. PLEASE lose that statement or claim. Finally, how many have paid for PPV events and been disappointed. More often than not I'm sure. So, watch and wait. DLC will be released at the expense of us, the gaming community, in order for them to make more money off of an unfinished game.

You cannot. It says classic but it is still referring to the analog stick punch set up. Face buttons are not used.

NO! It's strictly analog and you almost truly have no idea what your guy is going to throw. Straight up is a jab and to the corner and around is a hook. You have to think on it sometimes and by that time your stunned, getting mauled, or going down. Like Maverick said, you don't have time to think. You think you're dead. The lack of boxers is also frustrating. I really love the FN games but compared to 3; this one is horrible. The ONE true acclaim is that it has Tyson. One weight division has just that; ONE fighter...

in a way the game is almost exactly like the sport; you pay $60 to be letdown (hint every big pay per view they've had!)

HOW IS FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 4 getting such rave reviews when all the critics even say that TPC (Total Punch Control) is a disaster? Also, where are all the boxers?

My guess on that is EA plans to 'release' them at $5 to $10 a pop.... That is just flat greedy; but if it comes with a button configuration I might as well be a sucker to buy it since I bought this controller killer.
